  1. Hi ๐Ÿ™‚ Don't forget about the (Dedicated Phone Line) at Guest Services that SO MANY passengers overlook. The dedicated phone line is picked up quickly & there is no waiting in line to ask a simple question. ๐Ÿน
  2. Above info located (Click On Link): https://www.carnival.com/vifp/benefits ๐Ÿน
  3. More Loft 19 information @: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/search/?q=Loft 19&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=133 ๐Ÿน
  4. Hi @sprinkles925๐Ÿ™‚ Child rate is $38 at Bonsai Tappenyaki, same as adult rate. Some Carnival speciality restaurants have children menus & lower rates for 11 and under. However Bonsai is $38. Info Located & Additional Info (Click on link): https://help.goccl.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4250/~/specialty-restaurants---dining-reservation-information ๐Ÿน
  5. Hi @lele100 & @Iluvmykindle๐Ÿ™‚ There are 3 new Gift Bag Sets. (Info & photos can be located on Google) They are: 1st new gift is a Carnival Tote Bag 2nd new gift is a Carnival Fanny Pack 3rd new gift is a Carnival Toiletry Bag ๐Ÿน
  6. Hi @BRLady31๐Ÿ™‚ To directly answer your question: Carnival carries distilled water which can be purchased either pre-cruise or once on board. See Belowโฌ‡๏ธ ๐Ÿน
  7. There's plenty to enjoy when staying on the ship at port. Create your own personal sea day. Enjoy a quieter ship with less people & lines. Lounge in the sun, relax, recharge & nap. Take advantage of the port day Spa specials. Less people at the fitness center; get your favorite machine. Enjoy a late breakfast. If available, self service laundry with no waiting. With less people you can get terrific photos/video. Tour the ship. Less people on the jogging track. Look for hosted activities such as trivia & so on. Pools, hot tubs, water slides, mini golf, ping ping & other various activities. Of course there are many more options. The bottom line & main aspect is that you get to enjoy the ship in a way that you wouldn't usually be able to do on a sea day. ๐Ÿน
  8. Not a fan of Carnivals Warm Chocolate Melting Cake either. It reminds me of something that a child created & then cooked with an Easy Bake Oven. ๐Ÿน
  9. You're in a decent location in regards to what is below. However, cabin 9326 is a 'connecting cabin'. There will be a door inside your stateroom that will connect to cabin 9322. ๐Ÿน
  10. Hi @csm5986142๐Ÿ™‚ Cabin 9370 is directly above Bonsai Sushi restaurant. Not directly above the entertainment venue that is more on the starboard side of Grand Central. Take a peek at the deck plans. ๐Ÿน
  11. Hi @Clearwater๐Ÿ™‚ What is the cabin number? There are cabins above you (on deck 10) but there isn't cabins below you (Deck 8) for a sound buffer. Take a look at the deck plans to see what is directly below your cabin. My only concern would be having a cabin directly above Grand Central's 3-deck high atrium entertainment space located (mid ship) on decks 6, 7 & 8. A cabin directly above that location would possibly be prone to hearing music below, atrium activities, Grand Central show rehearsals at odd hours, & so on. ๐Ÿน
  12. Hi @Kingsmom๐Ÿ™‚ Cabin 2294 is below the galley. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  13. Hi @Clearwater๐Ÿ™‚ Just something to be aware of; Cabin 10216 is also a connecting cabin. It connects to stateroom 10220. ๐Ÿน
  14. Hi @love4monsters๐Ÿ™‚ Thank goodness your bag was labeled. Was this documented & reported at the terminal?? For decades, we always attach seperate, extremely secure luggage tags, other than air line or cruise line luggage tags, that contain only our (Name, Address & Cell Phone) contact information. And (inside) each suitcase, we also always place a piece of paper on top of our clothing, containing the same information. Please come back to your post here with updates, when possible. Good luck & my fingers are crossed for you as well! ๐Ÿคž
  15. Hi @zanydoc๐Ÿ™‚ On Horizon, on Embarkation day, JiJi's & Cucina do not open until 5:30. ๐Ÿน
  16. Hi @Vinlin06๐Ÿ™‚ JavaBlue Cafe is located on Promenade Deck 5, mid ship. See the recent Fun Times below. โ˜• โ˜• โ˜• โ˜• โ˜• โ˜•
  17. Hi ๐Ÿ™‚ Cove balconies are certainly a personal preference. They are not for everyone. There is of course many various pros & cons. I'll list just a few... Pros: โ—พ-- Cove balconies are sometimes bigger than normal balconies. โ—พ-- More private thanks to solid sides & sometimes lifeboats above. Less sound from neighbors. โ—พ-- They are more shaded. โ—พ-- Low deck position gives close-up views of the sea. โ—พ-- Quick to get on & off ship. โ—พ-- Cove balconies can sometimes be cheaper. Cons: โ—พ-- Some passengers might not like the enclosed nature of Cove balconies & the smaller opening. โ—พ-- Balcony can get wet & salty. โ—พ-- Might be too shady for some people. โ—พ-- Further walking to many areas of action on ship. โ—พ-- Balcony may be off limits in bad weather, high winds & high waves. Storm door will be closed, covering your balcony door. ๐Ÿน
  18. ๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท Hi @Vagabond Knight๐Ÿ™‚ Unlimited red or white wine at the Chef's Table. Carnival only does wine paring at the 555 Steakhouse. 1/2 Glass With Each Course For $20 (See Steakhouse Menu Below) ๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท
  19. Hi @Megan_Strick๐Ÿ™‚ I typed into Google: Carnival Vista Dry Dock And found this: The Carnival Vista is scheduled to go to dry-dock in 2024. Cruises have been cancelled from January 7, 2024 through & including February 10, 2024 per letters sent to guests. Located @: http://www.embarkandaway.com/carnival-drydock-schedule.html ๐Ÿน
  20. Hi @sprinkles925๐Ÿ™‚ All staterooms on Mardi Gras are equipped with a non-stocked mini bar unit. ๐Ÿน
  21. Hi @joyce&bob๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, it can be done. 1) Click on the link below 2) Then click on your deck 3) Then locate your cabin & see which cabin your balcony partition opens to. Click on this link: https://help.goccl.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5687/~/mardi-gras-(md)-staterooms-and-ship-features You & your neighbor(s) will have to go to guest services together (to finalize the request) if the stateroom steward cannot accommodate the request; especially since your unknown neighbor(s) will not be traveling with you. It's an easy request. Passengers do this all of the time. However many passengers of course want their privacy. The hardest part for some, is actually knocking on neighbor(s) door(s) to ask if they want to share balconies. Have a terrific sailing! ๐Ÿน
  22. Hi @cruiseguy56๐Ÿ™‚ See post/reply #3 ๐Ÿน
  23. Hi @zanydoc๐Ÿ™‚ Carnival Horizon (embarkation day) lunch & drink options. ๐Ÿน
