  1. Make sure they scan your card.  There are people directing you to the muster and some people think they are finished and then have to be found because they thought they had did it.  This happened to a couple on my last cruise.  Guest services found them when they swiped their card for a drink and escorted them to the muster.  They had already been but had not had their cards swiped.

  2. Finally!  I was charged for drinks I did not order, been charged for the same drink twice in error, charged for drinks in the Suite Lounge when in a suite.  I have had this happen on several cruises.  It is a pain to have to order the drink and then go to guest services to get it figured out.  On my last cruise, I was charged for 2 baha mamas at the pool.  I asked for the time and told them  our wherabouts.  I was on the flowrider and my husband was in the fitness center .

Plus now you can add tips onto the charge.

  3. I have been on a few ship in A1's.  Seems that one earlier this year was much louder in general.  The music from the rock wall, boardwalk and movie screens seemed to be going all of the time not just the shows.  They do practice the shows during the day as well especially if a new crew comes on.    You could hear it faintly in the room with the door closed and could hear for sure when the shows were going.  You could not hear it in the bedrooms.

For the free cruise, is it book the cruise within one year of turning Pinnacle, or is it that the sail date must be within one year of turning Pinnacle?

Also, does it allow for any balcony category to be booked at no additional cost, or only the lowest category (Specifically talking about Oasis Class with the Neighborhood Balconies, but also wondering about the Large Balcony categories)

    Back to departure day

Left cabin just after 7 and headed up to Chops for final breakfast. Starboard elevator lobby was closed and the port side one was full of folks with luggage wanting to depart.

Kind of a log jam, but not unexpected. Kind of shamed folks into not going up to go down, and our wait wasn't bad.

Breakfast was nice, had my first Eggs Benedict. Said farewell to some Pinnacle friends and left around 8am

No elevator wait outside WJ, and pretty much walked right off ship. Grabbed luggage, went thru face scanner and off ship at 8:15

Called Jerry, and he was there in 20 minutes. Easy and cheap. Sorry I didn't investigate the garage parking situation. I do think they use a pay before you get to car like a hospital.

You paid as you left the garage.  Our total was around 187 for the  days.

I literally just booked/put a deposit on our cruise this past weekend.  Today I get an email from Royal that the itinerary has changed.  Instead of Southern Carribean (Aruba/Curacao/Perfect Day), it's Eastern Caribbean (Tortola, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Perfect Day).  Is this normal form them to change schedules?  It's still showing on the website (I was curious if there was another 8-day Aruba/Curacao itinerary next year, out of Orlando).

I'm really disappointed, though we probably will continue on because it starts on our anniversary, and ports aren't the only thing, but I was doing a lot of research this week on Aruba and Curacao and was really looking forward to checking out these ports next year... ugh.

What ship and sail date?  Wondering if mine is still the same?

Does anyone have the genie email address for Wonder?

We are leaving from Rome on the 13th of October and have not heard from them yet.

I have tried wn_genie01@rccl.com and wn_concierge@rccl.com but they did not work. I understood that WN was the code forWonder, but maybe I am wrong.

    Thanks

Contact royal via face book or twitter or the concierge and they can get word to them.  It is ridiculous that there is not a shoreshide contact for these issues.

Heya all, so RoyalUp called today and admitted this was a mistake and should never of happened. The cabin we bid on was sold out and they automatically assumed we wanted a balcony.
So they have refunded us, moved us back to our original room and a gesture of goodwill added to our OB account.
Thank you to all the helpful people who suggested ideas we ended up getting through Twitter to them.

Good to hear.  There are many complaints on Twitter and social media that are due to the customer  misinterperting policies, but in this case they were wrong and the social media staff are great trouble shooters with legitimate issues like this.

This would be for Wonder next May. Plan is to rent car at port back to MCO. I'm ok with self assist if it gets me down the street to enterprise faster. Just want to make sure I can make 11:45 departure work. Otherwise it's another $400 each for later flight.

Just be aware. There are sometimes lines at Enterprise and they are waiting for cars to come from MCO to give to cruisers.  There are several shuttle options that are very reliable early in the morning.  Also Uber /Lyft is an option.
