  1. Yes, we used the CAT Bus when we were there earlier this year.
  2. The Perth Mint could be another option. We enjoyed our time there.
  3. DOH! 🤦‍♂️ How did I miss that! Yes, it’s Serenade of the Seas. It was advertised on that other social media. I didn’t price check with the cruise line or with any other TA.

  8. I’m reminded of our first cruise on Voyager OTS. DW & I were walking along the Royal Promenade and a watch in a shop window caught my eye. I wasn’t in the market for a new watch but it was a very nice looking men's watch and very reasonably priced at $125. I had a second look and realised I’d misread the price tag. It was actually $125,000. 😱 And US Dollars at that! Needless to say we kept walking. I decided that if I had that sort of money to spend on a watch I’d employ someone to walk 3 paces behind me to tell me the time when I asked!
  9. This morning DW shared a "memory" on social media. It was a photo of us taken on a cruise 8 years ago. I realised that I wore the same shirt on our most recent cruise last week! 😱
  10. I have a pair of sea bands which work on acupuncture points on the wrists. I bout The for $2 from the Reject Shop instead of paying $30 at the chemist. I’m not sure if they do anything, if it has a placebo effect, or if I wouldn’t get sick anyway. But I figure that they don’t do any harm. I started to feel a little queasy part way through our last cruise (last week) so I popped the sea bands on. I also opened a packet of crystallised ginger (yum!) that gets packed into the suitcase each cruise. I later looked at the best before date on the ginger and it was 2016! That packet has been on a lot more cruises than I realised. It still tasted OK, though.
  11. We had 2 shore excursions cancelled on our recent cruise on Golden Princess. As a result our onboard account had a healthy credit balance at the end of the cruise. How long will it take for Princess to refund this amount to our credit card?

  13. There’s some good prices for Royal Caribbean cruises out of Sydney in February and March 2020.
  14. I didn’t realise you were on the same cruise as us, Sarah. We joined in Adelaide! We’re in E219 if you want to say g’day.
