Good Afternoon All, I had a craving for some chocolate and tried the chocolate covered potato chips we bought in Charlottetown They are very good. Based on what was left they are DH approved too.😂. We picked these up at the Anne of Green Gables Chocolate store downtown. If we had sampled them in the store we would have bought a lot more.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. @0106 the recipes and pictures look very good. It’s slightly cooler today, only in the upper 80’s instead of 100+. This morning has been busy with work and will probably stay that way this week. I find myself debating on whether or not to make the upcoming final payment on our November cruise. This would be two weeks on the NA and we have all the perks one would want. I’m not concerned about C but more will flights go as scheduled. I will take insurance if we move forward. Not sure why this one concerns me. I hope everyone has a good day today. For our dog lovers.

We had two booking numbers. The PCC linked the two bookings hoping that they would give us the same cabin on each booking. They did. It was the first time I called looking for an upsell. Only one cabin remained on both legs of the cruise. I may have gotten lucky with my request I don’t know for sure. The new PCC told me to wait, he has since quit. I think if you know the cabin for both booking numbers that will help.

I was on the Zaandam this month. I did a live from thread. The ship and crew were excellent. While the food was good but lacked variety. This could be related to supply chain issues . I’m booked on the ship next year and have no concerns about sailing on her again.

We recently did a B2B on the Zaandam with the casino offers. When we booked it they were guaranteed bookings but the PCC linked them. After our cabin assignment I watched cabin availability. About a week before the first sailing I called the upsell department, against my PCC’s advice. I was eligible for an upsell on both cruises and went from Vista to Neptune for both bookings. A friend on the same itinerary never received any offers.

Planning on running a few errands this morning before it becomes too hot. From her FB posts it looks like @dfish is having a wonderful adventure. Last night I finally tried the chocolate covered ginger we bought in Charlottetown, it is amazingly good. I hope everyone can stay cool and comfortable today.

Good Evening Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Another busy work day, lots of software and hardware issues. Stayed 90 minutes late. In between zoom sessions I was busy changing usernames and passwords. Biggest frustration was we don’t recognize your email and or password after logging in with them. If you heard anyone yelling at their pc it could have been me.😂. It’s going to be very hot and humid. I’m planning on takeout for at least once over the weekend.

Good Evening Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. I’m very late today. Today was a mandatory in office day for a company meeting. My day started with a new credit alert. Based on the details from the bank the tablet seems to be the weak link, spyware. I reset it to factory settings, updated software, reinstalled antivirus and am adding back in apps only when the password and username have been updated on a trusted laptop. I even updated cc password. Hopefully that will be the end of the problem. @kazu I like the idea of Shadow coming to a loving and caring home sooner rather than later. The rushing to get new things will be worth the effort.

I don’t remember which nights were dressy/gala nights. It was two nights. Each days When and Where are posted in this thread. During the Orange party they encourage everyone to wear something orange and drinks were served at happy hour prices.

I understand what you are pointing out. It was my understanding that when we sailed Canada required tests for passengers embarking in Canada and not in the US. If my understanding was incorrect I apologize for any confusion on my part.

I’m waiting for the updated Covid shot that is supposed to be ready for the fall. It’s supposed to account for some of the variants.

The test was required for HAL, not Canada. We also did not need to test when we turned around in Montreal.

I recently completed two weeks on the Zaandam. Canada did not require a test to enter since we embarked in Boston. The ArrivCan app only asked for proof of vaccination and passport and where we would enter the country. No one from Canada asked tor the QR code.

Azamara just removed embarkation testing.

Today’s meal suggestion sounds very good to me. @0106 the pictures look appetizing, I’ll pretend that fish sauce isn’t included when being served😁 . Raspberry cake sounds wonderful. I’ve been playing Words With Friends regularly. I like meeting new friends on a BHB met some nice people on the Zaandam. We had a nice downpour yesterday so the plants got a nice soaking. Unfortunately at least through Saturday we are in the mid 90’s with humidity. The vet trip went well. Ashlee lost some weight and Zander found it. Zander also hissed, a rare event, when he got his shot. I hope that everyone has a good day today.

In both of my Zaandam post cruise surveys I stated that whichever cruise line removes the testing requirement will get my business in 2023. The only requirement I’d tolerate is vaccination.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. It’s a muggy day today with thunderstorms coming this afternoon. The rest of the week looks hot hot hot. I’m taking a half day of PTO this afternoon. I’m taking Ashlee and Zander in for their annual check ups. I’ll need to give them some treats after to make up for the trauma.😆. We’ve been to today’s port of call on the Maasdam. That 14 day cruise was our best Alaska cruise. I’d do it again if it gets offered. I hope everyone has a good Monday and stays cool and safe.

Good Evening, thank you all for the well wishes on our anniversary. It was very much appreciated. We made alternate plans and went to Jalapeños for a nice dinner. The fried plantains with caramel sauce was an excellent dessert. Later we also had some chocolate ice cream. @dfish I’m glad that you made it to the ship. I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures.

We went out for breakfast this morning and we are planning on getting takeout for dinner. The restaurant for dinner had a bus drive up it’s front steps so I’m waiting to see if they will be open or if we need alternate plans. Today is our 18th wedding anniversary which also somewhat marks 28 years together. Time certainly flies. After yesterday’s sticker and supply shock at the pet store I’m off to Walmart to get some food for the kids. I hope that everyone has a good day today.

Good Afternoon All, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today’s quote is spot on. I was allowed to sleep in until 5:30 this morning. When I woke most of the herd was lurking nearby. Dropped DH’s car off for inspection and repairs and had a much needed visit with our chiropractor. After lunch at Texas Roadhouse we spent the afternoon staying cool by catching up on episodes of “All Rise”. Tomorrow promises to be another hot one. I hope that everyone has a good day today.
