Thankl. So the seapass will be the old fashioned way. With everything else changed I thought that would be different too.

So if everything is stored in our phone how will we be charged if we want to make an on ship purchase. I always used my seapass card when I wanted to pay for a drink or make a purchase on the ship. So will there be a barcode in our phone app that will be scanned?

Checked in for 9/12 sailing. 12:30 boarding time on Oasis

I'm vaccinated and still plan on going September 12. The virus will never go away so I feel we just have to learn to live with it. There are risks in every day life. This is one more thing added to the risk

While I have not been on Harmony of the Seas, I have been on Oasis class ships. I have also been on Norwegian Breakaway and it did not impress.  My vote is for Royal Caribbean Oasis class ships. While Breakaway was okay, Oasis class ship is still is my favorite ship of all the ships and cruise lines I've been on. I feel like it has more to offer. There will be plenty of things for the kids to do too.

I just redeemed 50,000 points and got $500 off my upcoming cruise! I still have points so will use the rest toward onboard credit.

No check in yet for Oasis September 12th out of  Bayonne. CDC test cruise comes first.  i  guess our turn to check in will be shortly. 🙏 

My cruise is on September 12th and still have no access to make plans for anything on the cruise planner. Just a message that says "we're putting on the finishing touches"

Same here. Not sure if we will even be getting off. Been to Nassau numerous time. This cruise is mainly for the ship not the destinations either.

To date there's no indication it will be required for those just making a port stop in the Bahamas.  Bahamas announced a couple days this definitely wouldn't be required for cruises leaving from Florida and visiting the Bahamas.

My cruise is in September leaving from Bayonne and stopping in Nassau. I'm fully vaccinated. Is a health visa still required for entering Nassau?  If it is, when would I apply for it for a September cruise? I would think the cruise line would inform us of this.

So in the letter you posted from the ship, upon returning to U.S. from Bahamas regardless if your vaccinated or not it says you must schedule a test. What if that test should come back positive. What would the people do once they got back to home port? 

Have a great time. I will be following. Brings back memories.  I was on Adventure. Nice ship. I love the promenade. I wonder if they're still doing parades.  

I hope the ribs that they serve for lunch isnt from those pigs! 🙄

We never purchase drink or soda packages. Not worth it for us. We don't drink soda and we only have alcoholic drinks on the nights before a sea day in which we don't have to get up early for an excursion.

That would be too stressful. Our ship once got into port on time but there was a 2 hour delay until they started letting people off.

I can't wait to take my first step onto the ship! 

I'm really hoping they start sailing from Bayonne in September as I'm booked for September 12. I can't stand the not knowing if I'm going or not.  If we are not going, I wish we would be notified sooner than later.

I would never, ever fly in the same day. Years ago we were scheduled on a flight to arrive at the ship sometime in the a.m.  We had boarded our flight and then had to get off because there was problems with the airplane door and they had to repair it. They gave us food vouchers to use in the airport and we couldnt  re board again for 2 hours. By the time we got to the ship, we were the last to board, the buffet area for lunch was closed already and we almost did miss the boat!  Very stressful flying in day of.

While Allure is my favorite of 15 different ships I've been on I love the Oasis Class. I'm going on the Oasis in September and sure I will like it just as much since its the sister ship of Allure. The Oasis class ships are so different from any other ship I've been on.  Love the neighborhoods, grass, trees, merry go round, boardwalk, water shows. I could go on and on about what I like about that ship.

I  cashed in 50,000 Visa points last night online to get $500 off my cruise for September and in less than 24 hours it was processed.  Different from years ago when I cashed in points and had to call up the credit card company and then it took a week or two to be processed. 

I tried once using my rewards points towards my cruise and because I didnt book my cruise directly through the cruise they wouldnt let me apply my points.  Since then I always book directly with the cruise line and find them more accommodating also with any changes I make.
