Trying to confirm that the terms and condition for the friends and family sale that royal is having right now is correct.

So I set sail next mouth and its past the final payment date. I noticed my interior room is now the same price as a balcony guarantee. So I called royal to see if they could upgrade me, normally through all my past sailings I had no issues but this time they said it had to be a New booking because the friends and family is a special sale they are having. I just would like to confirm with others on here to double check.

Question, Looking to book a one night stay before cruise for Nov 4th into 5th. Seems like all the hotels around the port are either sold out or around $300 a night. It it high season or is there an event during that week. port everglades

Just out off the Anthem yesterday june 26th, Got home and got an email saying extra charge of $12.36 lol. I even took a pic of the waters in the cabin before I left the room knowing that there was a 90% chance it would happen.

Does anything know if its the room steward that makes the call for checking the water or is there another person that just handles the water check after each cruise? I wonder if they get the extra service charge and that why they do it.

you still have to put $250 for the child. I just booked for 2 adults and 1 child and it was $750

So I am in the works of planning a summer vacation. I've been on many cruises before but never out of the West coast. My plan is to fly from VA to LA and spend a few days in LA and also San Diego, then take the Carnival Inspiration out of long beach for a 4 day cruise to Catalina and Ensenada, since I've never been on a cruise out of the west coast I would love to try it.

How does this sound? My dilemma is is a cruise worth it to take to Catalina and Ensenada on the Inspiration? or should I just stay in LA longer and skip the cruise?

I know Catalina is a tender port do you know if they skip the port if its say bad weather like they do with grand cayman a lot of times.

Sailing the Dream from Port Canaveral. If i booked the Magical Express transfer to Orlando airport, is the Onboard Airline Check-In with luggage Included or is there an extra fee??. ( this is where they take your luggage the night before you get off and bring it all the way to the airport and check it for you).

Are you able to print luggage tags online like Carnival and RCCL or do you have to wait for the disney packed that you get before sailing?

Did you run into many instances of drinks over the price limit for the package? We leave for this exact itinerary on Saturday!

I didn't have a problem. But i did see some special drinks that were $14-$15 dollars.

Formal night was the 2nd night. Lobster was actually on the 4th night. We did not do any specialty restaurants.

Glad to hear that the food was good. How was the service?, there have been some mentions of cruisers waiting long times for food and drink service.........

Bar service was fast, Main dining room service was a little slow but thats normal cause trying to serve hundreds of guest at the same time is hard. Total time in main dining room was 1.5 hours.

Was that $61 before or after the 18% gratuities were added?

Before. so i saved about 100 total on the 5 day cruise just for booking online.

I'll be on her in 11 days! Can't wait!

 

How was the food and entertainment? What did you do in Cozumel?

Food was great, entertainment was great also. 1 Ice show and 2 production shows including Grease. In Cozumel I went to Nachi-Cocom Beach Club. Then walked the shops downtown.

Did you see any drink cards for sale, anf if so, how much?

Did not see any for sale. The drink package was $61 a night. Which i think is a lot if you didn't buy online before. I bought it online for $44.

Anyone recommend any good breakfast places near port Everglades. We are flying into FLL and my flight arrives at 8am, don't want to go to the port to early. We will have luggage with us. Trying to find a place close by to eat breakfast and hang out till around 10:30 before heading to port to board the ship.

Question, I thought that even with My Time Dining that Gratuities can you charged to my Sail card at the end of my cruise.

My cruise was been paid full for months now, I signed on to rccl site today, 2 weeks before I sail and see that I owe a balance on my account. I'm like whats going on. So I took at look and it shows that they charged me for Prepaid Gratuities. My question is I thought even with my time dining I can pay the gratuities at the end of the cruise.

when i print me luggage tags from the rccl site, they are blank, and I have to fill in my own cabin number. Is this normal? i thought its already printed on for you.

12 is fine. I'm leaving in a couple weeks on the independence my flights at 12 also. I plan to get off the ship by 9.
