  1. Hey guys,

I plan on driving down to port canaveral and staying at either the Country Inn or Radisson and using there stay and park deals.

My question is are there taxis waiting at port when you get off the ship like in Miami port. I plan to not take a hotel shuttle and just take a cab each way.

Will the cab take us, even though its such short distance?

and out of Country Inn or Radisson which one would you guys choose?

    Thanks

    Stan

  2. Narrowed it down to two cruises I can book for New years. Help me choose. Sailed on both carnival and RCCl before but not these ships. I think I like Explorer more on ship features but the Itinerary more for Carnival Splendor. Hard choices.

Explorer 8 night eastern- labadee, san juan, st croix, st marten, From Orlando

    Or

Carnival Splendor eastrn- Nassau, san juan, St Thomas, Grand turk. From Miami

Explorer leaves from Orlando saving about $200 a person on plane ticket. Flying into FLL or MIA cost about $200 more than Orlando. But Splendor cost about $200 less a person then Explorer. So it evens out. Both itineraries look good.

    Thanks

How is the Explorer holding up? Since its going into dry dock early next year.

    Thanks

  4. Hi, planning on a new years cruise. Which would you choose. Both itinerary are the same. Nassau, st Thomas, san juan, grand turk.

Here is the perk. Sunshine cost about 500 dollars more per person then the Splendor for same room type. So about 1k more for 2 people. Do you guys think its worth the difference?

    Help me choose :D:D:D
  5. Hey guys looking for your opinion. Me and my wife are in our late twenties and we love to cruise. Been on NCL, Carnival and RCCL. We wanted to try out a new line either Holland Eurodam or Regal Princess. For New years cruise, both are around the same price. Both doing Eastern caribbean But I wanted to know with one you guys think will be more fun? night life? I know Holland more older crowed not sure about Princess. I just don't want to feel bored on the ships.

    Thanks

  6. Hi all,

I wanted to see if you guys think HAL is a good choice for me and my wife. We are both in our late 20's. We love to cruise, been on NCL, RCCL and Carnival.

I am planning a New Years cruise and have picked to go on the Carnival splendor. But today while on the boards here I found a cruise with HAL Eurodam with basically same itinerary and price to be almost the same. HAL is only $200 more.

My question is if HAL is right for me and my wife, is it more of a low key cruise?, music? kids? nightlife? We are not crazy party people but would like a little bit of entertainment.

Also are all the meals included, like Dinner in the dining room and samethings on other cruise lines?

    Thanks

    Stan

  7. Hi,

Question on Carnivals rate category. When I'm booking my next cruise I see the option of either "Best price Resident rate" or "Early saver", Which one do I choose that gives me protection from price drops? or something else. Both rates are about the same rate.

    Thanks

  8. Hi,

Can anyone confirm or not if they offer Luggage valet on the Majesty 3 days cruise?

On Rccl website it says there is for port of miami. But i heard its only offered on 6 day or more cruises.

My flight doesn't leave till night time. I plan on going to south beach to walk around. But don't want to go back to MIA airport to store my luggage then back to southbeach. Any suggestions?

    Thanks
  9. Hi, does anyone know if the majesty of the seas offers the thing where you give them your luggage on the last night and they send it to the airport to the airline for your flight?

I ask because my flight doesn't leave till 6pm out of MIA and I was going to take a cab to south beach and walk around.

    Thanks
