  1. Most airlines let you rebook at the lower price within 24 hours. Or are you too late for that?

American airlines doesnt offer 24 cancel cause it offers at 24 hold instead.

I booked on super saver rate. I guess i can try to submit a form.

  2. So I've been looking to book a quick weekend cruise for the past 2-3 weeks now. Been checking on prices and airfare everyday for the past 2-3 weeks. Prices didn't move. Then 24 hours after I book, cruise price drops and so does airfare lol. :( just my luck. Can't change anything because cruise is in the next 30 days.

  3. Depending on the size of those 4 pc. of luggage, you might actually fit all 4 pax plus luggage into one of the full size 4 door sedan (taxi) i.e. still plenty of Ford Crown Vic (a/k/a ex-police fleet) running - we did four 22" airline sized carryon plus 2 backpack into the huge trunk, 3 pax in back and 1 in front.

The dispatcher on duty will usually summon & have you hold/wait for the next available taxi van, like this one picture here across the street from Pier 88, MCT at the taxi stand. There are also SUV's which can handle four rollers or spinners, depending on their sizes.

Or, use Carmel or Dial7 for the JFK ride - rates will be about the same (as they try to stay competitive vs. yellow taxi's flat rate to JFK only) and there's online coupon to save up to $4 on the trip. This March, we booked & called up as we left CBP inside the terminal (beyond the secured area) and by the time we walked our way out across 12th Avenue, our car/driver was already there & arranging to pick us up for the trip.

As NJH said above, either taxi or car service are fine, we do however, use Carmel more often for the cruise terminal & airport, a matter of personal preference, I guess.

Thanks, I'll probably just get a cab since if I use like Carmel I don't know the exact time I will be out of customs and get my luggage.

  4. Hi guys,

Trying to see if anyones done the Rainforest tour in st kitts? I plan to book with Thenford Grey and trying to figure out which tour is better. Rainforest or Grand tour. A couple memebers in my group want to see the rainforest but I wanted to know if its worth it? or if the grand tour of the island is better deal.

    Thanks

  5. Hey guys,

Wanted to ask if anyone ever did guarantee balcony on fascination or any fantasy class ship with those balconies that stick out.

Since it seems like there's not that many balcony rooms on the fascination, is there any bad balcony rooms on these ships? I could save a over a hundred by selecting guarantee vs picking your own.

    Thanks

    Stan

  6. On a convenience level, which would you do. Taking the Carnival Splendor in June the cruise ends in manhattan port nyc. But starts in San juan.

For 2 people. We live in VA.

    1. Take Carnival bus or cab to either JFK or EWR and fly back. Cost $75 a person for flight and $60 for cab/shuttle

    2. Rent a car in NYC and drive 4-5 hours back to home. Cost $150 for rental car.

    3. Take Bus back to VA- Cost $30 a person

    Thanks

  7. I've done it once at Orlando airport. At the airport baggage claim there will be someone there holding a Carnival sign. They have a list of flight schedules when guest come in. I think it depends on the time guest fly in but last time i waited about 45min before the bus was almost full and left. As for luggage you place it on the bus and I got my own back when I got off the bus and then gave my bad to the porters they have waiting.

  8. Thanks guys,

Trying to see if the 3 day cruise is worth it. I would take a longer cruise but I'm saving my vacation days at my job.

I'm looking in April and it comes up to about 1600 for two, balcony room. I know for Carnival and Royal short cruises tend to drop me price after final payment date for locals that book last min. Just trying to see if I should book now or wait.

  9. Hi guys,

I am looking to cruise with Disney for the first time. I've been on many cruises with Royal/ncl/carnival, and wanted to try something new. :D

I had a couple questions. I am looking to book a quick 3 day cruise on the Dream.

    1. Booking online, do prices work just like anyother cruise line, like goes up and down depending on season and availability?

    2. Whats the policy on price drops? Like if after final payment theres no changes?

    3. Any shows or dining booking in Main dining room have to be made before boarding?

    Thanks

    Stan

  10. Avis has a location just a mile or two from the port. They will give you a ride to the port. We always drive through the port and drop our bags off then go to Avis to drop the car off. Then the shuttle takes us back to the port.

Give me an email address and I will send you a discount code that drops the one-way fees. It has worked for us a couple of times.

Hi, if you still have a discount code I can use please send me an email. damaster2232@yahoo.com

    Thanks
