Others will chime-in, but the concierge service is pretty much a phony perk.  No dedicated phone line or dedicated person behind a desk somewhere that's focused on Sapphire and above.

Personally I have found the exact opposite of your observation.  The actual perk for non-haven guests, that need the assistance of a concierge, is provided by  the General Managers (HD) secretary.  Occasionally the HD will put you touch with the actual concierge and you will be treated the same as any Haven guest.   Personally I have received much better service from the secretary than I have from most concierges

As for pre-cruise concierge access that is strictly for Haven guests.

I don't remember that we ever have been that near other tables on NCL but it was a few years since we cruised with them so it might be different now.

4" is quite the exaggeration.  But, there are quite close together, but you can still get between them.  Albeit shuffling sideways.

  3. I personally think that the amusement park at sea is a horrible idea. But, FDR's whole game plan was to go after the untapped cruiser base.  You know, the ones who have no idea what cruising was. He does not care about the loyal NCL cruiser. He knew we would still come until the brand got so bad that we finally moved on to other providers.

I am finding YCI hard to find, can't believe they are sold out on some cruises I think they hold them back as you get them appearing later(might be cancelled or upgrade)

Never thought to ask on our last one.

Yacht Club inside cabins sell out very quickly.  It seems as though (from posts above) that people attempt to take advantage of a cool little "loophole" and play the odds of getting an upgrade to a balcony cabin after boarding.

You are exactly correct about YCI's reappearing later.  We booked our first YC cruise in an inside and bid on an upgrade and were accepted.  We did not know about the possibility of upgrading after boarding.

Well, if Harry worse, so be it and that will be telling.

How many millions is it to leave your lover, for your convenience, of course, and get yourself FREE.

Harry will probably not be worse.  It will just FDR 2.0 as he has been FDR's yes man since the 90's at Renaissance.

I’m not a fan of the job he’s done as CEO, but that’s a cool story. Anyone know if/when mainstream cruise lines will return to Cuba?

Never would be my wish.  Or at least not until their government makes a complete change for the better for the people.

I know all of this. But, when I Google NCL cruise parking it states $20/day if paid pre-embarkation be.

PARKING: Parking is available at all terminals. Parking for cruise passengers is $20 a day, payable prior to embarkation. Short term parking is $7 per day and on-board crew members parking is $17 per 7-day week.

  8. We are going on MSC for the first time in April.  We received onboard credit from our TA and also from MSC.  I assume we can cash out our onboard credit from our TA if we don't use it all. I assume we have to use the credit from MSC or lose it.

What exactly can we use our MSC onbard credit for?  Can we apply it towards our service charges?  Can we buy things in the gift shop (booze to take home)?  Can we use it for specialty restaurants?

  9. How do I go about requesting distilled water for my upcoming MSC cruise. We will be in the Yacht Club. Do I just wait until we board? Or should I make arrangements ahead of time?
