  1. Seriously, people, did you ever stop to think that the OP wasn't aware of such a sign? Wasn't aware that passengers aren't even allowed beyond the hallway doors unless they're legitimately priority? No, you don't think about that because you'd rather attack first, get the facts later. One person said it's just honesty. Honesty doesn't have to be so vitriolic.

OP, I think you have your answer. Albeit, in the worst way possible. Many of the ships will post crew at the hallway doors to keep anyone from going to their cabins who aren't allowed. Even if you were allowed to do it, would you want to leave it unattended like that?

    Read OP's first line.

  2. I think this could be solved rather easily. Carnival should include hand scooped milkshakes in the kids bottomless bubbles.

Carnival could also install soda fountains and make the soda free, like Disney does. Carnival now spends a fortune buying canned pop, schlepping the cans on and the aluminum off the ship, not to mention the time spent counting and accounting for each can.

Then you can pay what Disney charges.

  3. Ran into same thing a few months ago. After several phone calls was told means on-line allotment for that cruise is sold out. Keep checking. My daughter went to spa when they boarded and ship allotment was at 100%. On her cruise a few months later same thing, but was able to purchase on ship as 3 had opened up. Good luck.

  4. Actually did that several years ago on Celebrity Silhouette. Long story, but husband with broken back and just done full double mastectomy. Aqua balcony, never left the ship one of my favorite cruises ever. Cruising Carib so long now, we often don't get off at all ports.

  5. In RCCL family: Royal is marketed as the family line with emphasis on ships as destination, big venues. Celebrity marketed as a more sophisticated and modern line with smaller more intimate venues and more service options by catagory. Azamara is marketed as a boutique line with a more varied itinerary, smaller ships and detailed service.
