I check a 10 oz can. I always put it inside a ziplock bag just to be safe. Never a problem

We like the Embassy Suites and Doubletree Biscayne Bay, both in Miami.

We were on the Indy in Nov. we found it better to buy the drinks we wanted. Friends did the drink package and this is what they said. The first day they drank like crazy, the next day they were hungover and didn't drink. Then on port days ( St. Martin, St Kitts, San Juan) they were off the ship and drank in port. They felt it wasn't worth it). If you do decide to purchase do the premium drink package, better choices.

I have been on one January Bahamas cruise, and was never so cold in all my life. Luckily I had a heavy winter coat with me, had to wear it in Nassau. You never know when a cold front will happen, keep an eye on the 10 day forecast for that area.
-
We were there in November. All we had to show was our sea pass card.

We love the itinerary of the 4 night Majesty. We take this cruise every year.
From what I was told the 3 night Majesty is more of a "booze cruise".

As explained to me at Chops; 15% of your $30 goes to the server as gratuity.
Any additional gratuity you may WISH to add is at your discretion can either be signed for OR given as cash. According to the server I had last week they receive the full amount either way.
This is correct

I have actually worn black toenail polish and it looks good. You can have them put the black polish on then paint a flower on both big toes.

Just recently we met two very nice couples on our cruise at the meet and greet. One couple invited us to dine with them in their grand suite, and hosted a cocktail party. The other couple invited us and the other couple to share their cabana with them on barefoot beach. They are both fantastic couples, down to :mad:earth and sincere. They made our cruise one of the best we ever had.
The cruise prior to that we met a couple in the MDR from Newfoundland, Canada. I never laughed so much in my life.
Needless to say, we still keep in contact with all of them.

There are 2 Hampton Inns, one has free parking not sure about the other

It is also used to replace washing your hair and is placed in the roots and other areas to help remove oils. I guess I would rather have my hair look dull than greasy.

Thank you. We don't need to go to the airport. We will be coming off the Allure. Would it best to do the water taxi and purchase it for the day pp?
Maho Beach is at the airport where the planes land, I agree, look on utube it is quite amazing to watch. You can enjoy the water and watch the planes land at the same time.
-
There's always Maho Beach to watch the airplanes. You can do that for $2 per person, one-way, in a taxi.
We were just there, it was a lot of fun, and the beach was fun as well. The cost is more than $2 one way. From the port the cost for the water taxi is $7 pp for the entire day or regular taxi for $3-$4. This takes you to the shopping district. From there a taxi cost us $4 pp one way. The drive is about 20 minutes to the airport. So total pp round trip is roughly $14-$16

Just off the 11/11 sailing, formal night was 2nd night, Nassau day.
-
I agree with you - seems the escargot is on the smaller ships and every night - I just want one serving during my 7 day cruise
Just off the Majesty 11/11 sailing, no escargot, they said they haven't had any for 10 months. The Indy sailing on 11/15 had escargot every night.

We just returned from St. Kitt's and went to Carambola's. We did not care for it at all. Price for two beach chairs and an umbrella was $30, plus high price drinks. If you walk further down the price of beer gets lower and two chairs with umbrella is $5 (but don't expect much for that). Also the reef is fairly close so you have to be very careful not to step on a sea urchin so you couldn't wade out very deep. The sand is very dark like coal, not white. I would suggest Cockleshell instead.

Yes, 2 750ml or 2 champagne

Don't like Tankini's, they seem to always have a gap leaving you with an open midsection. Try one on and move around a little to make sure it will stay secure and not ride up.
-
We always ask upfront what the cost to the airport will be. They usually say flat rate of $20.
-
I buy from them frequently, and have found the items to be good quality and have never been disappointed.
-
You need to have cash for any purchases made at the "straw market".
Any alcohol, excursions etc will be charged to your sea pass card.

Dressy shoes (sandals), flip flops and tennis shoes for the gym.
Ditto, I take one pair of dress sandals that can be worn with any outfit, one pair of flip flops and one pair of tennis shoes. I am taking one roller bag and spending 13 nights at sea.

We have been on the Carnival Liberty. He can wear khaki pants, and a polo shirt.
My husband wore slacks with a Tommy Bahama short sleeve shirt.
Do not need to get dressed up with tie and jacket. Many of the men on this cruise weren't dressed formal.
IOS and luggage drop off
in Royal Caribbean International

We had a rental car from Sixt. I didn't know much about them, but was very happy. We dropped off the car, and they shuttled us right over to the terminal with our luggage. Very easy and convenient.
