  1. According to the Port Everglades ship schedule, it's actually Terminal 21 this Saturday. But the port typically has a sign giving that info when you're driving into the port as well. https://pevvesseltraffic.broward.org/webx/
  2. I tried to do this both through my PVP and casino dept. Neither could add Plus to the casino rate & both were confused as to why not. But they couldn't. Eventually I gave up and paid for the Plus pkg separately as an onboard service (which was more expensive) since our casino rate was so good and I didn't want to lose it. Frustrating but I got tired of fooling with it. Just relating my experience - hopefully you have better luck.
  3. Thanks for all the information and pics! Keep them coming! (And if you're at Vines, would you mind snapping pics of the wine list? Curious as to any changes since we sailed on Regal a few months ago.) Getting excited to board the Sky in 25 days! Enjoy your cruise.
  4. I must admit this discussion re: wine availability is distressing to read. I love my white wine on a cruise (by the pool and with dinner); so wine availability and choices are of interest to me. In the past, even the "low-end" pinot grigio offered was drinkable (from Italy). We have an upcoming cruise out of FLL on the Sky in December, and I'm concerned that the money we spent to buy the Plus Pkg is a waste (we had a special rate & had to buy the pkg separately). I know Enchanted doesn't have a Vines but I'm hoping the Vines on Sky may be our saving grace (at least for evening libations).
  5. Sad to see my favorite Chablis is no longer at Vines. And my husband's favorite red is no longer covered under Plus pkg. I guess he can pay the extra $2 or satisfy himself with the petit syrah or malbec. I doubt we'll go without! 🙂
  6. Unfortunately the casino dept couldn’t fix it either. So I’m stuck with either purchasing separately or rebooking a cheaper cabin with new fare. Not the outcome I had hoped for.
  7. I've sent a followup email to my PVP (who is awesome and so helpful). If she can't get it done, then I guess I'll just rebook at the new fare with the pkg but get a lower (cheaper) class of cabin. I don't really care that much about having a mini-suite - we only booked it b/c it was such an awesome deal. This will teach me to watch the fine print on these things!
  8. I see the button to upgrade at the top of the page but it won't let me actually do it. Did you purchase yours before or after final payment? Wonder if it makes a difference?
  9. Mine was obviously unaware as well. She was like "really?!" But she had no luck in adding it to our current fare without it being astronomical. Maybe I need to email her and ask her to check further. So far I have had no luck doing the online upgrade in the personalizer. It's still giving me the message to contact Princess.
  10. Well this at least answered the question whether I should book when I get onboard. Without the gratuities and wifi, it's not worth the $70/day. My PVP kept saying "just pay out of pocket," but I don't think she realizes how quickly drinking even just sparkling water, coffee and sodas adds up, especially on a warm weather cruise. Then throw in drinks at the pool & wine with dinner. We definitely get our money's worth with the pkg. If it were a port-intensive Europe cruise, it might be different. I'll keep trying to upgrade but I have to make final payment by Sunday. We may end up just rebooking a smaller balcony cabin with a different fare that incl. the Plus Pkg. The bigger cabin doesn't mean that much to us.
  11. Now I can add the package through the "Onboard services," but it's $70/day instead of $50. That's at least cheaper than rebooking with new fare.
  12. It does show that option BUT when I tried to do that it gave me a message to "please call for assistance." Ugh, so back to square one.
  13. I found the number so I'll try that route. Thanks for the advice!
  14. I wouldn't know who to call - I booked this cabin through my usual Princess vacation planner. She was the one who told me that the fare, which just showed up when I was searching rates on Princess, was a casino fare. When she tried to add the Plus pkg, my fare jumped up $2000! Definitely not worth that!
  15. We booked a mini-suite with a special casino rate that didn't include a drink pkg. (I didn't realize it at the time - my fault. I thought I had specially asked for it). When I tried to add the Plus pkg to our booking with my PVP yesterday, she says I will lose my special rate. Argh! So it will cost me waaay more than the pkg is worth. PVP suggested purchasing on embarkation day. But will I have same issue, I wonder? Frankly, I'm concerned Guest Services may just say "no pkg" can be purchased. And with our cruise being a Caribbean (lay by the pool and relax) type cruise, I really don't want to worry about every little drink purchase and the costs. If we get onboard and we can't purchase the pkg, it would really put a damper on our cruise. Has anyone done this with a casino rate before?
  16. Well it took a while but they did reimburse us for what we submitted. They sent an email asking for official flight cancellation verification (I sent them screenshot of the text from airline) but before I could get that from airline, I got another AON email saying we were approved. Got our checks today! Hope you all have the same luck!
