It's been two years, I've been going crazy!

My daughter is graduating high school and heading to college, I am newly divorced, and we both are living in a new place. All this change! We're celebrating in August right before she moves to college with a weekend trip on the SKY (our fave so far!) and I got the aft-facing penthouse.

Finally the suite life!

So hi to everyone new and old! It's been a while since I've posted.

Feel free to give advice on this cabin and the suite life!

I've been on 4 cruises and have yet to be in an expensive room. you can bring soda on board if you like. I've only eaten in a specialty restaurant twice.

Be sure you enjoy the ports. if you don't have a lot to spend at least do some window shopping. Maybe take at least one sight seeing excursion at one port. It will make you feel like you got out there and explored. Even if you just get off the ship for an hour it's fun. And while in port things are still happening on board for you to enjoy without all the people.

I've been on 4 cruises and eaten at Le Bistro twice. The rest of my food was 'free' and it was just fine. I don't expect gourmet food from the buffet or mdr, just good. It's always been good for me.

Cancel your cruise and stop complaining. If I was upset to the point of posting that I hated NCl already and it's 6 months from cruise time, you better believe I'd cancel and book elsewhere.

yes it's only a tiny kids thing. The two pools in the center deck can be crowded but sometimes surprisingly not.

Lobster is NOT what I cruise for. I'll happily keep sailing on NCL.

I've been on both sides for nassau too. You never know if the boat is pulling in or backing in there anyway.

Sea days are fun and I also love seeing the ports. Just pick the ports and ship that appeals to you the most.

If I'm on vacation I am not going to do laundry. I pack accordingly.

I did New Years one the Dawn. That review is in my signature. When we boarded some Christmas decor was still up. New Years was a blast.

As others have posted there will be a ton to do..........or just sit back and relax!

I don't get why they call it Freestyle Cruising/dining. It was originally marketed as eat where you want when you want.

That's why I don't reserve anything until I get there. And if it's full oh well, tons of stuff to do on every ship.

As far as the OP wanting compensation for being on the phone and/or having issues, really? I'm just happy when someone can help me.

I currently can't afford a trip and I'll gladly take any that people are willing to throw my way if it's all too frustrating for you. ;)

One cruise my family were the ones running through the airport, we almost missed our flight but made it. The people hoping to get our seats were cussing us as we boarded. After that I've arrived at the airport way too early, just in case!

Poor whale. Good it's not an NCL problem. I wonder how often a whale gets stuck to a boat?

I always book with NCL directly. I love my PCC. He helps me no matter how many crazy questions I have.
