  1. I have a great PCC. What I do is look on ncl.com for the cruise I want and when I'm ready I call him to book. In the past he has found me a better room and gotten me some on board credit that I didn't know about. Not a lot but it counts. He also answers all my questions from booking to cruise date.

He does email me and call sometimes with specials.

  2. I understand how this works but how many days do they charge you? For example I'm looking at a 3 day Sky cruise so do they charge me $49 x 3 or do they also charge you for the fourth day that you arrive home? You could technically grab a drink that morning but I'm also pretty sure your account is closed out before time to leave.

I'm thinking it's just 3 but I want to be sure I budget correctly.

  3. You can on any night on NCL.

So if that's the case, what's the point of this themed night? At least the old 'dress up or not night", the title lead you to believe that could be the night more were dressed up. As well it was listed in the dailies as "tonight is dress up (or not) night"....

Very true. Like someone else said it's advertising. If it's your first NCL cruise you might get very excited about it. For me since I've been on 4 (and planning more) I know what it is. Of course you can dress up 24/7 if you wish. I think they just needed a special theme for a night and ran with it.

I know some people don't care about what is on the dailies at all and some follow it to the letter. I'm in between----participate in some and ignore some.

  4. I'm not sure about the Epic studios as I've never been on it. I've booked my daughter across from me and also several rooms down. It was farther away then we thought but worked out. Since her last sailing NCL has made it so that you can put your children in a room across or beside you and not to the parent switching thing when you board. Again I haven't been on Epic so not sure how the studios work. I'd call NCL and ask. My PCC is very helpful.

  5. I have verizon. When I go on a cruise I call and tell them to turn on international roaming. There is a code to punch in before I leave port. When i get back another code to turn it off. I also keep the phone off unless I'm in port. I just use it for a few quick texts home or to use the free wifi port may have.

  6. We take walkie talkies. We've never been on a cruise that has the iconcierge app. I have one child and she brings a friend on cruises. I'd rather pay for a friend then have her wander around alone. My child was 15 her first cruise.
