  1. I used to try to leave reviews, but for whatever reason, they would get rejected - and I couldn't see anything that seemed bad, and they won't tell you the reason it was rejected. So I gave up after it happened a few times.
  2. Sometimes I'll order the fresh flowers for my cabin as a treat. 🌼
  3. That's cool. I know when people ask for menus and stuff I'll direct them your way. :)
  4. Normally I don't want to sit hours to save seats, but this time we did camp out most of the day on Lido, rotating to go get food, etc. Such a fun vibe, and close to Blue Iguana. :)
  5. Love quiet nooks to read in. This ship looks really cool. Might be time to branch out - loyal to Carnival but they are losing me with solo cruising being so popular and they continue to ignore us.
  6. hey Sid try booking a hotel in Cocoa Beach, lots more shops, restaurants, and a fun bar out on the Cocoa Beach Pier. I usually stay at the Best Western right near the pier. Not fancy, but clean and beach access right out their parking lot. Sunrise on the beach...ah, vacation has started...😊 Then its just a quick Uber ride to the ship. https://www.cocoabeachpier.com/dining/rikki-tiki-tavern/
  7. love Britto! Years ago they had a store in Bayside Market. So dangerous precruise trying not to spend my cruise money lol.
  8. The beaches that we went to weren’t that great. Locals were nice though. Just an fyi for future visits...the very last scene in Shawshank was filmed on St. Croix. https://shawshanktrail.com/sites-listed/zihuatanejo/ Looking forward to the rest of your review 😊
  9. Holy hell! I need to keep up to date on CC! Who knew I was cruising with the famous @Saint Greg this week! And looks like would have almost cruised with @sid_9169except decided against b2b2 😟 so leaving tomorrow. @Saint Gregwould love to say hi, wherever you may be…I’m usually at Latitudes/Alchemy/Golden Jubilee 😂
  10. click on 'what you get' 😊 https://www.carnival.com/vifp.aspx?icid=CC_vifp-club_1866
  11. I hate the typical martini too, but do you like green olives? Ask for a dirty martini, tell him just Grey Goose and olive juice (some make it with vermouth, yuk), and if you like, ask for blue cheese stuffed olives as a garnish. And if you want more olive juice, say you want it filthy. 😀
  12. I'm not positive, but think they may stop serving them at 9? I may be wrong tho, or maybe it was they had run out by 9? Sorry, don't remember what I heard...just wouldn't wait until later in the morning. Loving the review, great detail and fun remembering being on MG. :)
  13. have you tried the free breakfast sandwiches at Java? Really good and different.
  14. This is one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast is awesome - make sure you go around the corner to the left - more yummy stuff! (Hopefully its the same as precovid.) Ask for a refurbished room with the huge wall of windows.😊
  15. Sometimes I find cool stuff when I get lost lol. But the hub app has a great ship's map feature - just type in what you are looking for and it shows you the way. It came in so handy the first time I was on MG, didn't have to keep going to a map by the elevator.😁
  16. Another vote for New Moon. Four cruises on MG and that was the majority of my drinks lol. Bar Dela Rosa does an awesome espresso martini, and if you like wine, the higher end wines by the glass can be had at the steakhouse bar.
  17. Supposed to show up 2-3 days prior to cruising. Nonrefundable and no cash value, one of those use it or lose it scenarios. And maybe you already know, but you don't have to apply it to the 25th cruise, you can wait and apply to one that might cost more = more OBC :) https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1173/~/guest-recognition---milestone-rewards-program
