  1. We booked a superior oceanview on the "hump".:D:D

From what I hear, the ship is so massive, sometimes you don't feel like you are even on a cruise ship.

So, at least when we go back to the cabin, we'll KNOW we are on a cruise ship.:D

Nice! I had a boardwalk balcony all the way on the end of deck 10, so I was still able to see the ocean, aqua theater and boardwalk scene. Just wanted to try something different and I actually liked it. I would book that kind of cabin again.

And yes, the ship is very massive. When you're inside of the ship and watching shows and stuff, you do forget that you're on a ship at times. But it's definitely something to try at least once and you've taken that step.

  2. A few questions for you please:

That Carnival Quest looked a little raunchy, was it an adult only thing?

On HMC, you got video of the stingrays, you didn't have to do the excursion to go there and just see them?

Was the mini golf crowded at times other than in port, because in your video it was completely empty but then I realized you were still at HMC.

    - Carnival Quest was DEFINITELY raunchy, it is for ages 18+ only.

    - The "Island Tram Calypso Tour" takes you around to different places on HMC and the stingrays was one of the stops. You do not have to sign up for a stingray excursion to just go and see them. With the Island Tram tour, we only stopped there for about 10-15 minutes.

-As for the mini golf, we never went up there to play because it was very windy during the entire cruise. So, I am unable to answer your question....sorry.

  3. Curious to see a 9A-Premium Balcony? Have you wondered what exactly is the Seuss-a-palooza parade? How about wondering what wild fun takes place during Carnival Quest? Well, my Carnival Pride video link is below and I broke down where things are incase you don't want to sit and watch the entire thing.

  4. Hi Everyone,

We will be leaving on Sunday on the Carnival Pride. We are very excited! I had a few questions I was hoping you could answer for me. We've never been on Carnival before so I don't just want to assume.

Are there hair dryers in the room?

    Are soap and shampoo provided?

Is there any kind of luggage/weight restriction (we will be driving to Baltimore so we don't have to worry about airline restrictions or anything)

Can younger children (8) wear dress shorts and polos on non formal nights in the dining room?

Is there anything that a first timer should know? We've only been on Royal before (and Celebrity once)

    Thanks everyone!

Hey...I'll be on the ship with you :D. It seems like all of your questions have already been answered. As for conditioner, they used to give little samples of it in a basket but I'm not sure if they still do that.

Here's wishing us GREAT weather next week!!!!!!

  5. I used to break out in small bumps all over my legs and arms that were very itchy. It took me awhile to figure out what was causing it, so I did a test.

I have sensitive skin, so I thought maybe the strong detergent that they used was too much for me and I had a reaction. I vowed to wear long pants with a short sleeved shirt for the entire duration on my next cruise. My results? My legs were fine, but my arms had those tiny, itchy bumps. Since then, I knew for sure that I was allergic to the laundry detergent. Crazy!

  6. Thank you for the video! We are on the opposite side of the boardwalk in 10327, so I got a good idea of what our view will be from 10712, and the bed placement and lack of space near the closet from 10729. Our beds will be placed together, so that should give us a bit more space near the closet. I'm really excited about our Oasis cruise, and about our cabin choice! :D

You are going to have a fabulous time on Oasis. I'm glad that I was able to help you with your boardwalk view. Wishing you more space by the closet.....haha. It's honestly not THAT bad.

  7. Thanks for sharing...We'll have these similar last 4 aft cabins on deck #9 on Harmony for 2017. The only thing I'm hoping and it's a small detail is the lack of a sliding height adjustable shower head...much easier for those of us that are shorter...I noticed this when I last sailed Oasis in a regular balcony cabin...and hated this design.

I'm only 5'1" and I usually just take the shower head off, hold it and manually wet and rinse myself off. Feels wonderful that way. I pretend I have shower jets all over :p
