  1. Exact same feelings, warm weather and hot tub/pool are extra icing on the cake.
  2. Thank you for sharing your review. Other than the slow service and overcrowding, looks like you had a great cruise.
  3. It seems like nobody ever notices them... Edited 1 hour ago by hallux Terms and Conditions, nobody reads them, everybody press I agree, Im guilty of it.
  4. NCL is freestyle cruising, you can go to MDR in shorts and t-shirt, but don't go in a bathing suit, be presentable. Only a couple of restaurant require gentleman to wear slacks (Le Bistro, Palomar). The drink package is one of the best out there, but you don't have to drink the whole bar on the first day, it will be open the next day. Don't be a lounger/pool chair hog by putting your belongings on chair at 8am and returning at 3pm. You pay a daily gratuity fee per person per day, but if you get good service, it doesn't hurt to tip a little extra. If you own 100 shares of NCLH stocks, you get a shareholders benefit on every NCL cruise.(Free money) And as mention above, 10% off for Military/Veteran program.
  5. Hello, this coming January will be our first time visiting Grand Cayman with Celebrity cruise line, looking for a recommendation for an excursion with the must see and do of Grand Cayman. Any input is appreciated, TIA.
  6. There will be a sale for cyber Monday as well.
  7. Does not include specialty coffees, includes all drinks up to $15, if more than $15 you pay the difference plus a 20% gratuity of that difference.
  8. Absolutely what that is, get you into a live bidding and keep increasing the price.
  9. Sounds like a bait to get people bidding.
  10. Absolutely nothing like a high end restaurant. Like chengkp75 said, the crew is mainly US base, unionized, so the service is not as good as others ships.
  11. I sailed on both line also NCL and Celebrity, but mainly NCL, I would say NCL has the better package.
  12. Some of the branded cards don't get the offer, I have a regular Amex that I mainly use for travels.
  13. And the change is done, Thanks for the recommendation.
  14. We are booked on the Bliss for an Alaska cruise next May, looking to swap it to Encore which includes Glacier Bay.
  15. La Romana is a new port for NCL, for transportation options search the web for Punta Cana airport transfer, there are a few companies that you can reserve online. Stick to a reputable company with good reviews.
  16. Yes we are in our early 50s, no medical conditions, but like to have the travel insurance because our medical does not cover us if something happens outside the US. Its also a lot cheaper than buying a policy every time you book a trip.
  17. Depending on your needs and how many times you travel a year, you might be better off with an annual insurance policy. I have an annual policy with Allianz for 2 people, it has great medical coverage and covers all trips including flights within 365 days. Do your research and read limitations of coverage, for me it is a lot cheaper than buying insurance for every trip.
  18. Ok, I thought that if you spend $1000 on NCL website it would it qualify for credit.
  19. You can, as long as you spend $1000 direct with NCL using your Amex card, you will get the $200 credit.
  20. First you have to add offer to your card, spend $1000 direct with NCL and get $200 credit. If you cancel, they will return amount spend but they will take back the credit.
  21. Ally is also offering 4.25%, no minimum deposit. Great way to earn interest on your money for your next cruise.
  22. There a many online trading companies where you can by stocks commission free. Just do a little research these are all good.
  23. Once you add the offer to your card, you will see a tab with all offers, added offers. Keep checking regularly. Forgot to mention that I did a final payment at beginning of November, and purchased 3 NCL excursions 4 days ago using Amex.
  24. Try making a small payment using your Amex card, you might get targeted. I recently did final payment 2 weeks ago, and received offer yesterday.
