    Wow, that is a great deal. So you received the 10% military appreciation discount + additional 20% and all the FAS perks. Is it a last-minute cruise, maybe without disclosing too much can you give us more details like cabin category, length of cruise.

    The advantage is that at the end of the cruise you have a very small or nothing on onboard account to pay. Whatever additional food/drinks you treat yourself to, can be taken care by OBC. So you disembark and walk out of the cruise terminal much happier.

    With NCL, you can cancel anytime before final payment (120 days) without any penalty. Any deposit will be refunded to same form of payment (CC, Cruisefirst/Cruisenext).

    That is what I was told when they gave me the name tag, contestant are selected random from all that checked into the theater.

    Very casual but presentable, as Bird stated only 2 restaurants required slacks for gents. For the MDR you can get away with t-shirt no problem.

    Absolutely, I purchased the water expecting to get 12 liter of Flow water, later that night when I returned to cabin, found a box of 12 Acqua Panna.

    All the stars have to be aligned for this to happen. I was lucky enough to retired at 48, from a career where you collect a pension when you retire. Now I can take on any other work if I want to and when I want to, but I rather travel.

    Yes, while on the Prima last October, Ordered water from Penrose bar on deck 6, they send me a box of 12 Acqua Panna.

    Global Entry card is only needed when entering US by car at Mexico or Canada border.

    If you buy a case at any bar, its a lot cheaper. I think I paid $34 or $39 and received a case of 12 acqua panna. As for taste, I don't remember, when I reach for acqua panna, I already had consumed 10 others drinks.

    Ok, didn't know that the cruise terminal is closer to La Romana. You are correct PUJ airport is about 45 minutes to La Romana, for others traveling with more time, might want to explore SDQ (Santo Domimgo) airport, might find more flights options at cheaper prices.

    You can fly into Punta Cana, La Romana or Santo Domingo. Punta Cana airport is the closest to cruise pier, La Romana is about 1hr away, Santo Domingo almost 3 hrs. For transfers you can do a search online, there are many company that provide transportation from airport to cruise port or hotels

    If you are comfortable with the price per person and other promotions book it. You have 120 days before you can cancel without any penalty. I like booking early, but I price check before final payment. On the newer ships like the Prima or Viva prices are more likely to increase.

    They have 3 different policy, basic, premier and executive. You can increase trip cancellation coverage on premier and executive but be aware that premier is per policy while executive is per insured per year. Also review the plans details pdf. Happy cruising!

    I haven't found a TA that offers me anything more than NCL website. I book directly with NCL and get current promotions, military discount and the shareholder benefit.

    Go to Allianz website, click on get a quote for annual travel insurance, they do sell in their annual insurance to NY state residents. You can add a 2nd traveler to the quote and customize it.

    Looking at the video it doesn't explain all this, if they had the opportunity to arrive earlier, but requested same day flight, then thats on then.
