I somehow doubt they were let among the passengers. No chance of rubbing shoulders at the buffet or in the theatre.

Personally, I think the cruise line industry is its own worst enemy.

In an attempt to get new cruisers all lines are, periodically, doing deals for drinks or OBC etc. As a result, us seasoned cruisers expect them all the time now, even if that means moving lines.

Personally, when on holiday (I'm from the UK and don't know what a vacation is) we are heavy drinkers. Out of the last 4 cruises I've booked, only 1 DOESN'T have a drinks package, and that's only because it's a short cruise on a brand new ship. I know I've paid more for those cruises, but less that base fare plus drinks package, so IMO I've got a bargain.

We're fortunate enough to be able to book a long way out so from now on, we'll choose the cruise we want and then wait for the drinks package promotion. If that means changing cruise line, we will.

In the long term, this will mean we don't climb the loyalty schemes very fast, but most lines are reducing benefits now so that means less and less as time goes on.

We're also in the same position with a late flight so we've booked the baggage service mentioned above. It's got some good reviews. You choose what time to drop off your bags and what time to pick them up at the airport. Good maps to show the drop off / pick up points. €10 p/bag if booked online.

The call centre workers for cruise lines should read these boards so they have the most up-to-date info.

I think the "time limit" is just a bar tenders way of slowing down someone who's close to being cut off.

I've seen a friend cut off. The bar tender said they'd had a lot and he would serve them a water and maybe more alcohol later. The other 2 bar tenders wouldn't serve her either. About half an hour later we were all back on the B52's.

Do we know when Oasis #4 is scheduled to debut for her maiden voyage?

In fairness, most posts are very well argued even if I disagree with some points I can appreciate a good debate.

It's a shame some resort to name calling, that's what tends to get these threads closed. And I do like my popcorn.

I assume you mean you've deleted them from a SD card?

Sometimes a file isn't actually "deleted" until you overwrite it by using the space for another photo.

So don't use that SD card anymore. Get another one for the Xmas parties and put the other one somewhere safe.

After Xmas do some googling and you'll hopefully be able to rescue your photos. If your a little unsure there are companies that will charge to do the service.

I emailed my form, waited a week, called and was told to wait 2 weeks. After three weeks I emailed them and finally was told they had not received the form. I emailed the form again and on day 4 received my black card number. A little frustrating but finally got the match.

 

 

 

I'd email to check if they received your request. Most likely you will have to resubmit. Having to resubmit seems to be SOP.

Not sure where in England your from but there are loads of direct flights to Rome.

RC should sort you out, if not it might be worth just booking (at your cost of course) your own flights.

I'm not a fan of flying and would pay to go direct over changing.
