On our Sept.06/22 Emerald cruise, the Q&A with Capt. Lye said that she was the 1st ship of that class to have received the upgrades to the buffet area etc and is now due for further upgrades to cabin lighting etc and routine maintenance. He didn't elaborate much except to say that one of the biggest jobs will be to replace the tile decking around the pool areas which was an embarrassment to him. Emerald was in very good condition when we were on with few signs of wear and tear.

Just back from Emerald Princess British Isles cruise, and I had purchased $200 OBC which I did not use. I was refunded the full amount in cash onboard on the 2nd last day. I was told that they will refund up to $250 in cash and any balance would be sent as a cheque.

Maybe because it's too far out and the tours haven't been finalized. There are many other suppliers offering tours to the various D Day beaches so don't get too concerned.

A couple of times on our Feb/22 Enchanted cruise, their breads and pastries were the best part of the meal.😏

Surprised that NCL didn't do that since they have a Go cart race course on their newer ships.

FYI....most Canadian TA'S can book in either currency for MOST cruise lines. US agencies will quote in any currency but most can only book in USD.

I stand corrected. It looks like only WS flts from Calgary fly to LHR. YYZ, YVR all fly into Gatwick.....interesting.

When did Westjet ever fly to LHR? They always flew in to LGW to the best of my knowledge .

It looks like there are 3 Ho--Ho bus operators. Any recommendations for one over the others?

Actually TA'S make a LOT more commission selling Independent Canadian polices than selling the cruise line's polices. You are correct though, in that the cruise line policies are geared toward Americans. An exception is the policy offered by Princess. It seems to offer good coverage at a very good price.
