Kelkel2 you are so right! I've cruised 13 times with carnival and never came across a rude employee.
-
Yes, there are little cards with directions or just ask a casino worker. It's easy. Just be careful, it's so easy you may just play too much!!! Good luck.
-
FYI- If you apply to your cruise fare and paid in full any balance on Ecard of less than $10 they won't apply to your account. I had a small balance left and wanted to apply to OBC and they did not take it, so I applied to my upcoming cruise balance instead.

Saw that on the victory and they had huge turkeys and alligators and everything else in the middle of the stage area. All the chairs are covered as well. The children really loved it
-
I sailed re Victory and they had that set up in Nassau in November.
-
It would be nice if you also posed to the cruiseline rooms website. There are many pictures available , but not every room. I look there each time before I book on a ship I have not sailed. It is helpful. That room looks great!!!
-
Just select first night. It asks that because anyone can purchase for other travelers and choose to have it delivered on a certain night for special occasions.

I sailed the Victory on Spa deck with open balcony in November and we loved it. Weather was nice throughout the cruise.

I have a few carnival tumblers as well. One thing I can say is they are hardy. Beats the coffee mugs that end up with a soaked paper insert and a outer shell that twists and falls apart! They hold up after many times in the dishwasher. As far as keeping my coffee warm, well, it does not keep warm Fir too long. But, I do like my coffee really hot. MHO
I would bring it and as the OP stated. Bring it with and try for yourself.

We got this offer the last time it was offered and have yet to take that cruise. I just checked both of our offers on Carnival and we seem to have missed the offer this time. I wonder if it because we still have a cruise booked.
Even with one booked I'm still looking for deals to get me back on a ship before this winter is over.
I Was booked and did not have the offer until after my return. My DH had it though. Once I saw it, we booked two rooms. Great deal, too good to pass up. You may see one after you finish your cruise. If still available.

Dulcimergirl where you sailing out of? I lost out on balcony deal out of Port Canaveral by having to call back!! Less than 4 minutes and the balcony deals were gone.

when you book pack n play rate, do you pay in full at the time of booking? Or do you pay a deposit?
I booked an 8 Day on Valor OV (all that was left besides inside) at $90.00 PP and only had to put down $50 deposit for each.
-
Just booked the Valor for April 4, 2015...Yeah

I live in Clarence and have never seen a carnival gift card anywhere. I too had to print the e-card and place in envelope for my son and daughter in law. They take their honeymoon cruise December 7.

I agree sometimes the wait for the bus to fill is annoying. Although very easy to spot carnival reps to get you to the buses. Drop off is easy and they explain where to go. I think for first time cruisers it's helpful. I now use jiffyjeff transportation. He has a Large Mercedes van and he is ALWAYS on time and easy to reach. $15 a person.
-
It doesn't hurt to ask.
-
Jiffy Jeff has always been on time for me everytw me I use him. He responds to emails immediately. There is a four person minimum to get the 15.00 fare but just plan flights when you know there will be other passengers. I have also rented a car when we had a lot of time to spend in FLL before our flight. Not bad rates at all.
-
Another great ride from Jiffy Jeff Transportation. He was right on time and made the ride a pleasant one. Highly suggest using this service.

Nothing new. If you bring liquor onboard from your port of call, you have to turn it in and can retrieve it the last morning onboard. What they are referring to is cokes, water and other non-alcoholic drinks. You are allowed to take those to your cabin immediately.
Dave
That's what I thought, they keep it to end of voyage. Thanks for the clarification.
-
I know that you can bring liquor onboard that you've bought from ports and that it gets sent to your room later on during the cruise, but what about other liquids? (soda, juice, liters of water etc.) Do they let you bring these things onboard as well?
Is this something new bringing liquor on from port? I thought If you purchase liquor In port you get it at the end of the cruise Same as if you purchased a bottle from the duty free on ship.

While on the liberty in Oct. I received the drink card on the 2nd day out. But on the first night, talked to the pit boss, and he covered all my drinks that day. Also tipped my waiter a 5 dollar chip and from that day on, he made sure I was never without a drink, sometimes two, and would always check on me. So tipping does really help.;)
I also tip a 1.00 for every free drink and never had a problem waiting too long. I would get asked before my drink was empty.

Is a five day considered short!

Just do a mock booking when logged in. The rate will show up and sailings are up until April 2015. We got the offer as well but you have to do a mock booking to see dates and rates. The offer was expired and states the sailings were for September. The search on offer page is always just spinning has not worked for me. In quite some time.

I'll be there next week. Kind if tired of it myself but it's in the itinerary. Usually go to Paradise Island but this time hitting a resort for the day.
Am I the only one annyoed by lack of "bar snacks"?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

They used to put tiny bowls of goldfish out for those who drank at the bars. Only the people I was with would eat from it. But, this was a cut. I usually bring my own in board now, because I need a salty snack once in a while.
