I'm surprised they applied it to cruises that far out. People have reported they were told to resubmit current documentation closer to sailing date for cruises more the 4-5 months in the future.
I read that but submitted for the July cruise a couple of weeks back and it was applied.
My fear is them pulling back share holder from comped or discounted cruises so I was playing it safe. (HAL doesn’t allow it on comped which is where my thinking came from)

Both get the "Plus" package.
And you cannot decline the package for a price break or substitute it for other freebies. My wife and I are non-drinkers, and we wanted casino free play instead of free drinks, but couldn't swing it. What a waste, I think we had three alcohol drinks total between us the entire cruise. Even though the package was free, I think we lost money on it!!
But it also includes tips which would have been money out of pocket.

Does anyone knows if I can add the shareholders benefit to my
casino free room offer?
if I can how soon can I apply the shareholders benefit.
Thank you in advance
Yes.
I added SHB to my comped cruises through the cutoff the last one being July 2023 and all have already been added and show on the booking

For those who have received casino offers that included the princess plus package can you tell me if the
offer is for both persons in the cabin or just the promo recipient.
TIA
Yes, it covers both in the cabin,
You each get the plus package.

Keep an eye on it, prices fluctuate all the time.
. I have a feeling with cost of living crisis prices will eventually come back down snd probably less than your initial assessment.- 1

The difference is that, under TD, the Dining Room Manager had the authority to reassign tables. Now tables are permanent assigned by the App for the entire cruise and cannot be reassigned even though they may not be used by the assigned party. I was told by the staff that they have no discretion since the App holds the tables and assumes the people will be using them each night which, under Dine My Way, is often not the case. A traditional dining experience did not happen on our last cruise after six nights of asking the Dining Room Manager for a fixed table. It took an extraordinary effort and the involvement of the Food & Beverage Manager and Restaurant Operations Manager to get a fixed table assignment on Day 7. We've cruised with Princess for over 20 years and never had this problem until the App came along!
I changed my table on the first night of a two 10 day B2B cruise after speaking to the crew working the door. I ended up with the same table/time for 20 days.
I think it can be done but some may choose not to deal with it and use DMW as an excuse.- 1

Keep one of the room service covers, we usually just put one on the shelf in the closet. It also allows us to keep some fresh pastries in the room from the international cafe.

It gives you flexibility
-If you want to eat later due to excursion times
-If you want to dine in a specialty restaurant it doesn’t leave a bunch of empty tables in the MDR
-I can opt out of my reservation on nights when I want to eat pizza and watch MUTS
-If I went to tea at 3:30 then I may not be hungry for a 5pm reservation

I did a chat with Princess and it can't be used for anything other than cruise fare. It will NOT be refunded at expiration date.
Cruise fare but that can include Princess Plus or Premiere. Make sure you are maxed out there, no sense paying out of picket for things you don’t need to. ,

Hmmm…Maybe it was just for a few sailings they did this to mitigate the spread?!
I was on the Sky, Enchanted and Caribbean this year and all had shared tables, all even asked if we preferred to share.

Holland allows your regular PVP to book casino bookings but Princess doesn’t.
Trying to book those offers is hours of hold time.Princess needs to look at more training and maybe restructuring a bit because this is not working.

I was on this cruise with a decent sized roll call. I’m pretty sure others spoke of issues but they were fixed during the voyage. It wasn’t a great cruise all around with lots of issues, along the lines of a perfect storm scenario.

2-4 weeks is standard, unfortunately.

Our's were fine when we first uploaded them. Weeks later they disappeared and we've uploaded over and over since then, always pending. Doesn't seem to matter if it's jpg or pdf format.
I'm fine with ignoring it, but I'm not fine with the fact this problem has turned us from green lane to blue lane, which is going to slow the whole process of check-in down for us due to nothing under our control.Double check that pending is the reason, everyone who uploads at this point will only show pending. I boarded in Port Everglades with pending and it didn’t effect my green status.
-
It doesn't seem to he fully operational yet, if it is easy for you to upload, do it.
You still need to be prepared to show docs at the port .
The app is not taking the place of showing docs to a rep yet

Anyone who doesn’t enjoy sailing with kids avoid the school holidays snd book longer itineraries.
I started sailing as a kid and that’s how my ♥️ For cruising began.

Princess is still the only line I know of that takes care of veterans. The only way I'd consider switching is if other cruise lines followed suit for vets.
Holland has added a Veterans benefit that can also be combined with shareholder OBC

Is afternoon tea served in the cabin, or simply delivered, same as room service? I'm aware that afternoon tea in the cabin is available for elite, but have never ordered it.
It’s the same as the dining room high tea. You call ahead to arrange delivery if you are Elite.
if you are not Elite it’s not available through room service 🫖 -

they will test using the OTC Binax/free gov’t Binax (USA)
Worth researching.
I have used Emed for 3 cruises since the restart and never had an issue.

Is this a fact? I would give my change every time if I knew it would go to St. Jude or another children's charity.
I directly asked when I was on the CB princess and that’s what I was told. Now, if they rotate charities at different times and ships, I’m not sure. I saw someone saw theirs went to World Kitchen which is also a fantastic charity. .

The change should still be on your card,
also the unclaimed change will go to St. Jude.No one is taking your money.
Pub lunch returning, any news
in Princess Cruises
Posted
The same day that the buffet held some fish offerings, I dare not call it Pub Lunch it was awful, they had fish and chips on the lunch menu in the MDR.
it was nothing like the pub lunch of the past, all a bit disappointing.
This was on the CB in May
