    3.  If cruise is cancelled by Princess are all amounts refunded?  Original $2000 plus $200 in bounds cards?

     

    4.  If cruise is cancelled for a personal reason and covered under Princess insurance are all cards refundable?

    Yes to all 4.

    You can call Princess and they will apply  the cards to your account  for OBC.

     

    Gift cards are returned as gift cards but they will all be returned back to the original cards.

    Yes, I checked my statement from the Mother's Day promotion so I can confirm that you get 2X

    You can call the Princess Casino Team and they can tell you what the offer is exactly and if it includes any extras.

    Already paid for Shore Excursions with gift cards which aren’t the same as Land excursions. Those would be pre or post cruise as in Alaska tours following a cruise.

    That’s incorrect.

    They just need to be applied by that date.. 

    I did this last week with my bonus card and didn’t have an issue.

    I don't know the exact answer to the first question but I can tell you that I called Princess and had about 20 gift cards added to my account (From Promos, Gifts and Allstate)

    It was a very easy process, I just read the numbers off and they were applied automatically.

    Well i was able to buy 1k in gift cards (2 x 500).  When i attempted to buy more princess denied the transaction (not my card i checked). Repeated questions wont tell me why one charge went through but not others. Looks like they are onto it. I actually tried 2k at first before the 1k and it wouldn’t let me. O well i still got something out of it. Stinks i cant get more promo gift cards out of it. My final payment is in 2 weeks so the timing would have been perfect. 

    Whomever is traveling with you could purchase them as well.

    I ordered some in the Mother's Day Promotion and  used them for excursions. It took just minutes to apply them to my ship board account for 3 Europe cruises, next year.  Saved $100 and now an extra 10% off, used my Princess Credit Card and earned points for what I spent. WIN WIN! 

     

    It's unlikely that they will not honor gift cards even in the future unless they fold.

    We have applied FCCs to several upcoming cruises. These FCCs started out as FCDs, which would have fulfilled the deposit requirement plus brought some additional OBC. Except now, because they’re FCCs, it required the intervention of Customer Relations (after being told several times by Princess agents that was not possible and begging to have them transfer me to Customer Relations). Those were some long and involved phone calls, and I was glad when they were over and everything was in place. Meanwhile, I sent in the information required to get our CCL OBCs applied to our bookings. 
     

    Time passed, and the fare on these bookings dropped. It is before final payment so I phoned Princess to get them re-fared. Oh no no no.  This again involved being transferred to Customer Relations, but, after an hour on hold, someone came back online, took my contact info, and said they’d call me the next day. Yesterday was the next day, and though I didn’t get a call back, I did receive new booking confirmations with the new fares. All was well…I thought. I first realized that our CCL OBCs had been removed from all the bookings. That was one (easy) phone call to get fixed, and I was told that is a known issue with re-fares.
     

    Then I noticed all the OBCs associated with the original FCDs had also been removed. That started a 2 hour 20 minute phone call to Princess, most of which was spent on hold with Customer Relations to get the OBC applied again. I never received an acknowledgement nor apology for what I was required to go through, just a statement that they were being bombarded this week. 
     

    I know these prices are going to drop again, and I almost hope it’s not enough to warrant any action on my part. It shouldn’t have to be this hard. 

    Wow!! It shouldn’t have to be this hard, you are right. 

    It seems for many of us getting credits sorted has turned into a part time job.

    I received it on all my Casino cruises (Comped) for Princess, I have only been denied by Holland America.

    I didn’t get an email but if you look under payments and scroll all the way down it would be listed in the last box marked Credits

    I was doing that as well but the flight I was very interested in booking isn't being offered through EZ Air, I didn't realize they only offered up some flights and not all.

    I'm going to call since I I'm in the 330 window but it doesn't seem to be an option to book.  I'll be on hold when they open 🙂
