It’s still not as rough as that first night and day! Scary if it’s a bad fracture though, and explains why no helicopter evac. Will update tonight after they give us a better idea of Sunday timing.

Happened to us once on Harmony, coming out of St. Thomas. Captain had us in and out of San Juan in under an hour - quite an orchestration effort between ship, CG, and shoreside EMT's. Sounds like you have only sea days left on the cruise, so he may be able to make up time if they orchestrate this one as well.
Yeah, I was shocked when he announced 4pm as that’s nearly a 12 hour delay. We’ll see if he can put the pedal to the metal and get us back sooner.

Yes. Obviously thoughts are with the passenger but it’s going to be a mess with having to rebook flights the Sunday of thanksgiving weekend.

FYI - On wonder right now and captain just announced we’re on our way to San Juan for a medical emergency. He anticipates this will delay our arrival back to Port Canaveral until 4pm which will obviously delay the next departure. Just a heads up to anyone on the next sailing. Hope the injured/sick passenger recovers.

Windjammer not open. If I'd known I would have done muster first. I've never seen lunch not open already when boarding starts. Odd.
Wow! That's crazy, but also I guess is good cause it means you're on the ship super early!

We did a Back to Back in Ravenna this summer and the members of our group that got off were able to get their new sea pass cards around 8am at Guest Services before leaving and had to be back on board by around 3pm. Those of us who stayed had to be in a lounge by 9:30am to get our new cards, scan out our old ones, and hold there for about an hour before we were let go.

^No, you're right! Mariner always seemed to be worse for Internet than most of the other Royal ships out of Florida!
-
I have friends on this Mariner sailing so I'll be following you along!

We have a group and were allowed to put a single in a balcony room on Deck 14. There are certain decks and balcony types where they are restricting right now, but oceanview on Deck 14 was allowed for a single.
-
^^Yup, if you've followed them before I'm pretty sure they are up front! 😃

My teen loved our two weeks on Brilliance in the Med doing Greece and other ports this summer. There are also beaches if you're into that, but we did history, sail boats, food, caves, and more! Very 'instagrammable' spots if your teens are into that too!

I've always just made reservations for our large groups once on board. Be warned, they will usually only give you the earliest or latest time for big groups.
-
We booked with Greece Sailing. They are picking us up at the Tender pier, bringing us to a private sail boat, then we have a nice day before they bring us back. I can let you know how it goes in a few weeks.

@bonsai3s can you answer this? We're just in an ordinary cabin so I don't know the answer.
Oh, my bad! I thought you were in a suite or Pinnacle, I'm actually more interested in the 'normal' experience as we're just in regular old steerage! 😃 Thanks!

Who is the DL on the Brilliance in June?
Anyone know the answer to this? Now that Brilliance is sailing again!

Great report, very helpful! Sorry for another tender question...
I assume since you were in a suite you got tender tickets for whatever time you wanted? Did you just see the suite concierge the night before or how would that work? We have all private excursions so I'll need to get the early tender for my group. Did you happen to see what time people started lining up to get the numbered tickets?
Thanks!

I have a friend onboard. Was told someone brought/tried to bring a gun onboard.

We're on a Brilliance cruise this summer doing Mykonos and Santorini (a bunch of others as well but not your same ports.)
We are using Kostas in Santorini this summer and we used him in 2016 as well. https://santorini-private-guide.com/ Great tour with our then nine year old daughter as well. As others have said, there is a wait for the cable car but it goes pretty decently and I never saw people get left behind!
In Mykonos this summer we are chartering a sail boat with lunch, swimming, and visiting Delos with https://www.greecesailing.gr/ I can let you know when we get back how it is!

Would love to hear some confirmation about this on Europe cruises!?!?! Woo!!!

I've used the emed tests twice in Europe over the past few months and plan to use them again in Italy this summer for our cruise. If the internet goes out, there's a button to reconnect and it shouldn't ruin anything.
