  1. Constellation departs BCN on 7 November, and Silhouette on the 16th. Constellation would be a tight fit in having to fly to BCN and embark by 3pm. We'll see what Royal has to offer when their Fall schedules come out.
  2. Having your room cleaned/refreshed twice a day has nothing to do with "luxury." It doesn't take that much time in the evening, especially if they eliminate the time to make the towel animals. 😉
  3. It's only 2 weeks and a day or so. Not sure what they are going to do other than hull maintenance and some cosmetics. We're going to spend some time in Portugal and try to hitch a ride back to the States on either Royal or Celebrity.
  4. I can see how 1-2% of cruisers could feel screwed by this new policy. For example, a D+ goes thru all 5 vouchers on day 7, and on the old policy, if he stays up past midnight partying the evening before disembarkation, at midnight he would get a fresh batch of vouchers to continue partying into the night. Is this the concern of a subtraction from benefits?
  5. Exactly how are you losing even more now with the drink voucher time change?
  6. The Eastbound gets into Lisbon on 7 Nov. If there's not a Westbound on either Royal or Celebrity soon thereafter, either Rome or Barcelona, will just spend time in Portugal and fly back out of Porto, which is a great city to explore.
  7. I just booked the PC to Lisbon 25 Oct 2024 TA. My travel agent also prices it out the same and is giving me $175 OBC. Of course, this is the non-refundable rate. I see you are including gratuities in your total price. I'll just use my TA OBC + shareholder OBC to use for gratuities.
  8. The one coming back is over Thanksgiving. I'm now looking at booking the PC to Lisbon then hitching a ride back with either Royal or Celebrity when their schedules come out. That would take out the TA flight either way. JS is $2565 with D+ discount.
  9. My guess going over for drydock and coming back in November 2024. I'm looking at the Nov 2024. JS is around $2600 for a D+.
  10. Funny you should ask that question. I thought the same thing. We've stayed in this stateroom on Millennium, Summit, and Constellation, and not even a "flush" sound. 😉
  11. If you are stopping in Montenegro or Malta, you are good to go.
  12. Those are 3115-3127 on the Port side of the ship. They are the newest ones. The other ones are on the Starboard side, 3112-3144. Stateroom 3112 is the best one of the lot in my opinion. We always try to book it. The newest ones are in a passageway of their own. There is an entrance door to 3115, but sometimes it is always closed. The main entrance into that passageway is at stateroom 3121. That would be the least desirable in my opinion as anyone walking into the passageway when you open your door can see right in. Across the hall from 3127 is a service entrance to Ocean Liners. If you are Elite & above, that's a shortcut to get in there for morning coffee/breakfast. Across from 3125 and 3123 are service linen/supply lockers. I wouldn't hesitate taking any of them except 3121.
  13. On Brilliance last month they loaded one free coffee on your seapass for latte-tudes. When the coffee machine crapped out, unlimited latte-tudes access.
  14. Same here. Hopefully they will grandfather us who chose "per package" option. I think they are going to have to eat their IT screw up.
  15. Thank you. I figured there was a "secret" passageway to get to that area that did not show up on the deck plans. Appreciate your info.
  16. If your Europe cruise does not hit a non-EU port, you will have to pay VAT on all purchases. When in Barcelona and Spanish waters, you will have to pay VAT.
  17. Looking at the deck plans, Odyssey does not have any dedicated conference rooms. I requested conference room space from the Events Coordinator for cards on a future cruise and was told that they only have a multi-purpose room off one of the dining rooms. I've searched videos of the dining room on both deck 3 and 4 and can't seem to find the location. Does anyone know where the multi-purpose room is located off the dining room, which Deck, port or starboard?
  18. With the new D+ five drinks a day, the only one time I went into the CL was when the coffee machine crapped out on Brilliance in the DL last month. I needed my morning fix, and there was only one person, other than the CL guy in there.
  19. I thought smoking was on the port side on Deck 5 and starboard side on the pool deck? I could be wrong. Maybe thinking of another ship. On Celebrity ships, smoking is on the port side both at the pool and promenade.
  20. Something's rotten in Denmark. I have a 11-night sailing on Summit and called to get my Elite+ discount. They charged me $87.89 which comes out to $7.99 per day. For the same sailing, they offer the Premium WiFi Upgrade Voucher for $9.99/per package. It also says Full Sailing -- 11 Days. Below in the small print it does say $9.99 per person per day. So, the wording $9.99 per package should read $9.99/per package per day. I guess it will take a phone call to the Captain's Club to get the true skinny.
  21. Sign into Celebrity website. Click on Manage Trip/Manage Reservation. Click on "Plan my cruise." Click on to the icon next to the "cart" which will show you order history, etc.
  22. When I go into my Cruise Planner and click on "Order History" it shows" Premium Wi-Fi Upgrade Voucher" and lists our two first names. As far as I'm concerned, we're upgraded until someone tells me different.
  23. I didn't see anything that stated it was for one day. It says Premium Wi-Fi Upgrade Voucher, 2 devices. Anyone remember when Royal made a mistake in pricing the beverage package at $18 a day? They eventually honored the price. It was unfortunate that we bought it on two cruises but both were cancelled due to covid. We'll see.
