  1. You select the Royal wifi, then open up your browser. It will prompt you to select a package or to log on to your existing package. Sometimes you have to type "logon.com" to get to the Royal log on page.
  2. You create a user name and pin and give it to them. Each person should just log onto one device at a time. If they want to switch devices, they must log off one and log on to the other. Only three devices are allowed to be on line at the same time.
  3. I would think not true as the large portholes are spaces out the same on both sides of the ship. I've looked at the ones on the port side, and they appear to be the exact size as those on the starboard.
  4. All the regular balcony staterooms on Solstice are the exact same size with the exception of accessible rooms.
  5. They had four large cats. No problem getting people off the ship. Just get your tender tickets when they begin giving them out. Only problem with Yorkey's Knob was space for busses to park to pick up ship excursion tours. Only about 4-5 spaces, so people were crowded around the pier area. They had to wait for one bus to fill for another one to take its place. If you have a private tour waiting, you shouldn't have any issue.
  6. Miss you guys -- wish you had been on this leg. We've got 9-10 for TRASH on the sea days.
  7. The huge Cats seemed to move everyone out quickly. We boarded one even taking a ship's tour. Taking the ship's tour tomorrow AM to Palm Cove, so will probably not get into Cairns. The ship is charging $20pp for bus from Yorkey's Knob to Cairns.
  8. Just an FYI for those following this thread, we tendered in Airlie Beach at Shute Harbor. The ship (or whoever) provided free 10-15 min shuttle to/from Airlie Beach.
  9. There were 4 of us together so we took an Uber. We took the River City Cruise w/lunch, and Uber cost $28 (USD)(44 AUD) to the River City Cruise dock. Cruised down the river and stopped for lunch at Breakfast Creek Hotel. What a great place for lunch. Best steak in town and a great place to drink beer. After lunch and a few brews, Uber back to the ship cost $20 (USD)(32 AUD). Cheaper than $80 for the 4 of us and not crammed on a 50 pax bus. There were also lots of taxis at the terminal. P.S. No visit to Brisbane should be without a visit to Breakfast Creek. It's a truly amazing place with great food & beer and atmosphere.
  10. Currently on Solstice. Connecting to wifi then turning on ExpressVPN and selecting Atlanta. Now able to watch TV on youtubeTV. Just departing Tahiti.
  11. At 8pm every evening, they do this pour (show) using 12 small martini glasses. It's quite an event.
  12. That's the idea of the DL -- get through security to board the ship, nothing else.
  13. Celebrity does not offer 4 daily free drinks, just the 5-7pm happy hour only for select drinks at most bars, excluding the martini and molecular.
  14. Then how will the VPN help you since you will be connecting thru the ship's IP?
  15. You could probably show up with NO boarding pass, and they would provide you one at check in. Just need your passport.
  16. I recall when I had a VPN, I had to disable it in order to connect to the ship's internet. Is this still the case?
  17. When we sailed, they scaled back on the Agents during the shutdown. There were long lines when debarking. It was unnecessary. It was a subtle way to send a message.
  18. When you go ashore on an excursion, you'll probably want to leave your passport in the safe on the ship. Most ports they tell you to bring a photo ID along with your seapass to go ashore. I always take my drivers license ashore with me.
  19. Take a screen shot, then send it to your printer.
  20. I bring my own bloody mary mix. I can't stand that stuff they mix with tomato juice. I noticed that Royal has switched to Mr & Mrs "T" - I prefer the bold and spicy.
  21. No, I'm saying they scanned MINE on my iPhone and not my wife's. It seems at check in just one boarding pass will suffice.
  22. Last time we checked in, they only checked/scanned my boarding pass that was on my iPhone.
  23. I keep my boarding pass on my iPhone in the Wallet, same place I keep boarding passes for the airlines. Easy Peasy.
  24. Thanks for the confirmation. I'll just plan on getting off and staying off until required to reboard for departure.
  25. I've done many B2B's and very familiar with change over day, scan off/on, yada, yada, yada. My question is Sydney. I understand the procedures are different there. That's why I am asking about doing a transpacific to Sydney then B2B following. I understand Sydney has different rules for getting on/off the ship.
