  1. You probably threw away all those apples you got. 🤣
  2. Since you won't tell us what stateroom you would be giving up, and the fact that you are now not going to be downgraded, I guess this entire matter is moot. Good luck if you decide to bid on an upgrade. If you win the bid, that stateroom would be a surprise.
  3. What stateroom are you in that you would be giving up? That would be helpful in determining if you should keep it or not.
  4. What stateroom do you currently have that you would be giving up?
  5. I use a similar program. Someone posted it about 10 years ago, and I've been using it ever since. I simply download and save the cruise documents. Open the program and it asks for the page of the saved cruise document the luggage tag is on (usually 19 or 20). I input the info into the program and it saves 4 luggage tags to a page. Then I insert then in to a plastic luggage tag holder.
  6. Book an A2 back aft. There are suites above them.
  7. Royal stopped charging corkage fees, at least for the last 6-7 years that we've brought a bottle into the MDR.
  8. As Elite + already, an extra point or two will never get me to Zenith in my lifetime. I personally desire twice a day service, so if I'm not sailing in a Suite on Royal, I'll probably spend my $$$ on Celebrity.
  9. If you go for a concierge stateroom, I would choose a C1 and pick one on the hump/angle. What is your sail date?
  10. I concur. Both have an upper berth which closes flush into the overhead.
  11. I've learned to never say never. You never know what's going to change in the future.
  12. It usually works out. The squeaky wheel usually gets the grease. It's amazing how so many are accepting this as the New Norm and gracefully accept it.
  13. I would check with your travel agent and/or Celebrity. I know they had busses meeting trains originating from Venice, but don't know anything about times. My hotel in Ravenna arranged 6-8 Pax vans for a group of us. Taxis were not that plentiful.
  14. Maybe I won't, but if I do, they will certainly get an earful all the way up the chain.
  15. They have the machines at the Park Cafe back aft next to 270.
  16. Night & day. Like I said, I don't stay in hotels for more than a day or two. I'm sorry that you do and have to put up with lousy service for 5-6 days at a time. We will be in a JS on the next three sailings. They have raised grats and cut back on services. Once we go back to a regular stateroom on a future cruise with once a day service, I'll really have to think twice about filling up the "Tip Tip Horray" envelope.
  17. Hotels are cutting services BECAUSE THEY CAN. They just blamed covid, and then when covid is over, it now becomes the norm. It's people who put up with it is the reason they get away with it.
  18. You mean to tell me you can't figure that out why that is? BTW, I can't remember ever staying in a hotel more than one or two days. Doesn't need any explanation. Do the math.
  19. Hotels never had twice a day room service. There are some swanky, expensive places that provide turndown in the evening. Those are the exception, not the norm.
  20. We're not sailing in a hotel, so we shouldn't be using it as an analogy. Whether you want to admit it or not, it's a big cut back right after they raised gratuities.
  21. We sailed in 6240 on Eclipse. There was a dingy outside, so you could see a bit more of the sea. Friends at the angle (6208) up forward had the large lifeboat obstruction.
