  1. I got the same thing with no reason to have it....but when I clicked on it, it said the amount was 0.
  2. Yes, you can...but it took about 20 minutes for us.
  3. On the page of the on line check in where you enter your credit card info, there is a box after your info that asks if this applies just to you or to all in your cabin. If you check all in your cabin--done. If you don't, you can add it at check in at the terminal.
  4. IF EVERYTHING works perfectly, you can do self-disembarkation at 7am, catch a Lyft or Uber right outside the terminal, and be at the airport 20 minutes later. But.....if there is a medical issue or someone needs to be turned over to the local law enforcement (yes, it happens).....or the ship gets involved in a rescue at sea...or a million other possibilities, you may not make it. Medical and legal situations are taken off before normal disembarkation starts. There is so little distance between Bimini and Miami that an issue along that distance is unlikely. The question you need to answer is, "What happens if I don't make it to the airport by 9 to catch the 10am flight?" The later ones would be safer, but I understand your desire to get home.
  5. 6 nights or more allowed 3 advance reservations at each restaurant. 5 nights or less are allowed one. You can eat there more times--the limit is on advance reservations.
  6. Life seems to vary on Virgin. We can only report our own experiences.
  7. No, afternoon tea is considered an "activity." you can use bar tab for non alcoholic mocktails, including the non-alcoholic pairing in Test Kitchen, smoothies, specialty coffee and tea, cold pressed juices....and that's all I can think of. You an also share it with anyone you choose,
  8. A reservation guarantees you a seat. We normally just walk in. We've only been turned away once and that was at The Wake about noon. They offered a reservation for the next day.
  9. The only alternatives I know are to keep trying and reinstall. If all else fails, there is a team at the terminal to help you. The real question is whether the stuff you entered got saved, and there's no way to answer that.
  10. The Wake also serves breakfast/brunch from 8-1. in addition to the options above, Some parts of The Galley remain open till 10:30pm--great for grabbing a late night salad to take back to the room.
  11. This absolutely. You will get better info here, on YouTube, etc. than from shoreside sailor services.
  12. Interesting. They certainly used to. You can order one from Amazon in a compressed bag and just leave it after the cruise. Crew will either take it to use themselves or trash it, If you are going to leave it, be sure you offer it to them so they can't be accused of stealing.
  13. Definitely up charge food, etc. Literally anything that can be charged to your room
  14. When VV first started sailing from Miami, there were reports of people being able to access the ship's wifi from the terminal, but that ended long ago. Now you will need to be fully on board to connect.
  15. Add to the list spa and shopping....as well as any charged beverages if out of bar tab.
  16. Screenshot is fine. Go to the website (not app). Scroll down to "loyalty," Look for the 3 ways to qualify and click on "Status Match." You 'll see the application and just upload your screenshot after you enter your identifying info and booking number.
  17. We had no issues with them, but if you find them too firm, ask for the topper. I suspect it depends on what you are used to at home.
  18. 35% of reservations are held back till after boarding. You should be able to book on the app as soon as you are on the ship, If you have any difficulty, there is a team in Razzle Dazzle to help you (or at least that's where they were on our last cruise). Sailor Services cannot book dining reservations for you; they will direct you to the restaurant for assistance. You can also book or change a reservation at a restaurant any time it is open, but RD is there on embarkation afternoon to provide help with all dining reservations, If you happened to book Rockstar, just go to The Manor and they will take care of it for you.
  19. A bar tab on VV can also be shared with anyone you choose...it is a "use it or lose it" situation. So, if you make friends on the ship, you are free to buy their beverage as well. It is easy to track the amount remaining by checking the app.
  20. PJ party is normally the first night about 11 pm.
  21. Yes. Sea Rover status, which includes the DBE perks grants "priority embarkation" which has always been right after rockstar and those who purchased the Romance at Sea packge.
  22. I didn't watch it. They do have the adapter to lower wheelchair users into and out of the pool.
  23. Sometimes they can be done the night before. It depends on exactly when the "flip the switch" to open them. Yes, hypothetically you can be on their app provide you have all the log in info in advance--booking number, name, date of birth of lead Sailor.
  24. Yes, if one person books for all, one card will be charged for all. Best way is to have each person/cabin go on line and book for themselves. Try to book on the first day that the excursions open. Otherwise you will need to deal with collecting your money to pay for the others that you booked, and that may ruin some friendships. Invite everyone out for coffee and each book on their own phone while you are sitting there so you can answer all the "is this the right one" and "am I doing this right" questions OR call sailor services with all of you there so you can book for yourself, then hand off the phone to the next cabin's people so they can give their booking number to the Sailor Services rep and do the same...and move down the line, App is easiest IF it is working correctly.
