Interesting. Thanks. Trying to decide if we're better off going early May (fewer peeps but maybe dodgy weather), late May (better weather, more peeps) or hedge our bets and go mid-month (best or worst of both worlds)!
Not long now till that Greece cruise!
We always cruise early to mid May and have never encountered bad weather

This was the one thing I really missed about being on Allure, no guacamole anywhere.

Participated in my first slot pull this May, I’m not a casino gal but I had a blast. Met some great people and we didn’t lose $$. Lots of people gathered around us because of all the laughter and cheering, I knew the organizer would get the points but I didn’t care, he put a lot of effort into this and I still have my souvenir lei. Great memories

That's funny. I will have to ask my son about that..... he told me jeep owners have a special wave they give each other.
Lol yes, I get offended if I don’t get the Jeep wave ✌️

You are forgetting your priorities, Come on Man ! You are drinking to much, you have the "need" to eat more Food !!
Kind of knew upfront this was to big a task for you. This is turning into a drinkfest........Need to change the "Name of this Tune" to " Can you Name this Drink"?
Then you have people on here suggesting to you to try this drink and this drink. That ain't right. 😞
Nooo this is fun, keep those cocktails comin

FYI, in Playmaker's for onion rings. Also ordered The Pitch as drink #2
Fairly busy
My server told me I should order more because I can only come once per day. Politely told him I don't believe that's accurate. We'll see later.
He also thought I had a $25 dining voucher as a Pinnacle. That's odd, that is supposed to be only for ships with Coastal Kitchen
Also I stopped at Fish & Ships. I was told it is included.👍
That looks refreshing, what’s in it?

Anyone just get back from this cruise? Went in feeling great, but day 3 I had a scratchy throat, then sinuses last 2 days. Woke up today and stayed in bed til about 4pm. Wife is OK and tested negative with our at home tests, so I'm quarantining in the basement.
Seems mild, not a bad cough but feel tired & can't stop blowing my nose.
Quad vaxxed (last booster 3 weeks ago) so should be good. Just curious if anyone else also came home with the bug.
Same symptoms I had 5 days after my cruise, tested negative at urgent care so thought it was sinus infection. Lost my sense of taste and smell day 7 and tested positive at home. Feel fine now, thank goodness I was boosted

I better make sure to read this thread after eating because I’m hungry just thinking about the food you’ll be eating. Enjoy!

With UDP I usually order Takeout at Izumi as soon as they open. Usually takes about 45 mins. Snack on the balcony if I have one. Then go to dinner.
THIS is genius, relax on the balcony while everyone fights their way at Windjammer

I usually have my phone on speaker so I can do stuff while on hold

I’ve tried three times in the last week, waited over an hour all three times and gave up. Very frustrating

So how are you prepping for this ? Eating less so you can eat more or eating more in anticipation of eating more 😂. As someone with a weak stomach (like mother, like daughter so thanks mom) I can’t imagine this yet I wish I could do this. Pack your probiotics! Oh man, I sound like my mom. Looking forward to this.

Loved Park Cafe, their salads were fresh and made to order and I liked that they limited the number of passengers inside. Ate at Vintages few times, tapas selections were very good. I was thrilled to come home with no symptoms…until day 6. Luckily I was home and my symptoms were relatively mild, DH never got it. Would I cruise again? Heck yea!

I have never seen Champagne on a cruise ship. There may be some stashed somewhere I just haven't seen it. What I have seen is sparkling wine, most is terrible. When I have wanted Champagne for a specific reason, I bring it with. Steward has always been able to provide a bucket and glasses.
I had Moet at Champagne Bar on Allure last month

Sailed on Allure in May, most people didn’t wear masks. I only did at terminal upon embarkation and if I absolutely had to use elevator, washed my hands frequently, avoided Windjammer and MDR. Came down with symptoms 6 days after coming home, tested negative twice until fifth day of onset of symptoms and only decided to test again because I lost my sense of taste. Luckily my symptoms were mostly sore throat and head/chest congestion. Did I get it from cruise? Who knows? Could have been on flight home even though I masked up. Will I cruise again? Heck yeah, first Celebrity cruise in November!

We are home safe.
For those who read the first posts, our trip home in Delta One was SO much better. An older plane, but I actually liked how it was organized better (it felt like more room) and the flight crew was like night and day compared to the first one. We felt so special, got offered drinks and food, no problem getting a seat belt extender, so friendly. I specifically thanked them for making us have such a good flight back to the US. Will also be writing Delta to tell them.
I never ever want to fly through JFK again. Worth a longer layover to fly to London or Amsterdam first and direct to Detroit. Luckily, our wheelchair pusher was a badass, and trotted us through all of the airport. Such a long way; if you are at all disabled, please request a wheelchair or cart. MrCatLady runs multiple times a week, and he was sweating by the time we got to our new gate.
The highlight of our trip home was meeting CC member Stephanie (not sure her handle; tag yourself if you’re reading!) as our FA on our last leg home to Detroit. Pic posted with consent. So cool!
Got home and immediately passed out. Our cats are so happy to see us. Dealing with a migraine today, but Sir Catrick Stewart was glad to take care of me.
Already thinking about our next trip…we are booked on Quantum of the Seas out of Seattle on August 15th with MxCatLady. Hope to see some of you on my life review then! Thanks for joining me 💜Cats always seem to know when you’re not feeling the best, when I had the flu one of my three gingers stayed by my side for three days ❤️

We do an 11 night version this August. 😁
Originally had the VP suite on 12. Glad we moved to a GS. Though I don't recall a lot of fog when we did this route in August 2018
Will look forward to your review as always

The level goes to everyone in the household, even kiddos. However, each person earns their own points. Some people get really confused over this point. The household receives the Diamond but individually they each only have points assigned to their C&A that they have earned. Enjoy the Diamond rewards on your way to Plus.
Yes I’m confused so even though he’s diamond he gets the perks but not the points? That’s ok

If your account shows Diamond when you log in his account should as well. If it doesn't then they don't recognize you two as being in a "relationship" as they call it. Call C&A and they'll fix it.
Thanks John!

I’ve taken couple cruises without my hubs, my last was a solo so got 4X points. Is he automatically diamond as well when we take our next cruise? Thanks
