If you have a local C&A phone number, I think it's at least worth a phone call. The kids are supposed to stay at the level that you were on the day they turned 18.

They were Diamond at 18, and Diamond+ on their 19th birthday cruise.:D

Now half way to Pineapple.:D

I was on her in January and I think she was the most hideous boat ever, it was ugly, nothing matched, fake gold, angels on the ceilings, I doubt it has been refurb end since it was built

I am going on my second Platinum Princess cruise with my Elite cruising buddy.:D

I don't know anything about the Elite/Platinum event, as they don't have it on ships based in Australia. But I have now read that we will have it on the Golden, and I believe Diamond has it as well.

Good news for us.:)

Never been charged an overseas transaction fees with RCI. (Since they opened an office in Sydney).
Paid off my next cruise today, and bought OBC for my next 1/2 dozen RCI cruises.:D:D:D

Yep DW only said today, we haven't cruised to Tassy for nearly a whole year, we must fix that.

 

Over half our cruises have gone to Tas, because we love cruising, we love Tasmania and DW is an expert on the Children's prison at Port Arthur, do it fits.

 

OK Gut.

During your first (or subsequent) cruise with RCI join there Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program.

 

When you go to your members Area there is an Upgrade Preferences link where you can elect to have an auto upgrade or apply conditions etc.

 

You can see the Crown & Anchor tab on the the normal home page of RCI.

 

Not sure how Celebrity works but the benefits are linked.

I'm hoping, because I'm cruising with an Elite, some of the benefits rub off. :)

Last time with my cruisin buddy, I had to ask for tender tickets, as she doesn't disembark at any ports, to show her black card.

As stated, the Diamond Lounge is only for Diamond and above C&A members.

Even thought the sea pass card opens the door.

I have witnessed Suite Guests being turned away by the Concierge when they entered.

Absolutely loved Legend in June.

Great replacement for Rhapsody in Australia.

Booked 3 more cruises on her. :D

I would love to upgrade, but it would be AUD 8700.

So much for RCI offering upgrades to D+ and Pinnacle C&A members.

Looks like we sail with an empty OS.

Yes, I have my preference set as automatic upgrade.:mad:

But I'm quite willing to pay a reasonable price.:eek:
