Well the choices of burgers are the standards found in land bases JRs. With the various toppings. But just not the same. Royal might be cutting corners on burger size or the meat. A milkshake can be covered by 1 drink voucher so that could save you a little. Now if they replaced with 5 Guys you wouldn't find it empty so often.
Johnny Rockets is just a burger too. But a $15 one! Unless you can eat 3 or 1/2 dozen hot dogs, it's not worth. Save your $s for a specialty restaurant.
Playmakers might replace Johnny Rockets since few eat there any longer. The $15/person charge is just too high for many. Table after table got up and left when told of the charge by the waiter. The only good news is that they now accept 1 voucher to cover a milkshake.
I have seen carpets replaced during a cruise. Carpet rolls were loaded on day of sailing and stacked on deck 5. They worked on installing every day. Doubt they would go to drydock just for that.
It already has Giovanni’s, Chops, Izumi, and Schooners. We were told crew areas refurbishment has already started weeks ago while sailing "...because everything on the sched could never be completed in dry dock otherwise" during our cruise last week. Back on her for 13 days in January so will ask more questions.
