Thank you very much for updating your post with this info--were you able to finally do it on the website or was it in the app (when it opened up again) ?

i did it on the app. It’s just quicker to access the function that way when you randomly check it throughout the day when you have a chance to do so.

Thanks; any additional info on this would be much appreciated.

I just found out this morning that last Thursday I was exposed (for like 2 hours!) to someone who just tested positive for COVID yesterday. No symptoms for me, but I’m so paranoid with the cruise coming up I may see if I can get an unproctored home test today just to calm my mind.

We sail on 9/26 and because of this we have pretty much been isolating for the last few weeks. Still going to grocery store and running our necessary errands with masks but no socializing, dinners out, etc. This will be the process we follow until we take our pre cruise test on the 24th.

  3. Literally just got an email from Celebrity for our 9/26 Equinox cruise that stated:

For US sailings departing through October 1, 2021, all guests two years of age and older, regardless of vaccination status, will now be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result at the time of embarkation. This test may be taken as either a PCR test or an Antigen test, conducted within THREE days of embarkation.

This conflicts with what we were told on the phone yesterday when we called and the rep we spoke to said TWO days.

One thing that is consistent is that they are inconsistent. We’ll do two days to play it safe.

Sounds like you are in the right place.

You can get there on the web as well, just edit your check-in information (click on 'Print Xpress Pass' then the little pencil symbol near your name).

From there you can pick 'Arrival' on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Odds are though that if you are seeing later times but nothing earlier then that is all there is left.

The pencil!  That was it.  Thank you!   I see now that data agrees with the data I see in the app.

  5. I’m seeing a lot of threads with folks discussing making a change to their boarding time after the initial time was set. May I ask WHERE this is done?  I am trying to find a place within my online reservation but do not see it. The only place I sort of see it is via the X app where only later times are an option. Just trying to see if the time I have assigned which is fairly late is able to be adjusted somewhere I am not looking. Thank you.

Keep checking back. The sole 3pm option is something of a placeholder before they open up the actual slots.

I'm currently checked in on 2 sailings. At first, both only had the 3pm option. About a week or so ago, one opened up there were all the times (from noon until 5, I think). I could change to noon with no trouble.

The other one has yet to open up, so I keep checking.

Where are you checking?  On their website or on the app?

  7. We have had to wait in the past but the wait has never been more than a few minutes and the wait tends to be when you have a party greater than two. In our experience when it is just two there was never a wait.

For the 8/5 and 8/17 cruises on Equinox.    I initially got a 1:30 slot when I checked in.   I booked after final payment so many of the slots may have been taken.

I checked back after a week and all time slots were open, so I re-select a 11:30 slot.

When you say you checked back, where are you referencing? Is this on the website, in the app, or by calling celebrity? Thank you

Not new but in the past they just had a card in bathroom saying something about save the environment.    Hang Towel if you wish to reuse or put on floor for replacement.

We try to be green by hanging the towels once a day and using again. In 25 years on 25 cruises I do not recall EVER coming back to the same towels we hung up. We try but they seem to get replaced anyway. This seems to be the case on all cruise lines we have sailed.

The ship is my destination! 😉  Can't wait for November, with or without ports.  I just want someone to make my bed, prepare my meals, shake my martinis, and and say "We are so happy you are here!"

Quite frankly, I think the same way. I have not even really looked at excursions for our 9/26 Equinox cruise.  I’d be hard pressed to even tell you what the ports are!

  11. I am curious about others on this sailing. Our boarding time was assigned at 2:30. Has ANYONE received an earlier slot?  I’m wondering if this is the earliest or if down the road it may be an option for me to move into an earlier slot if any open up.

  12. I am sure if I do a deep dive (or not so deep dive) into some of these forums I could find this out but can anybody tell me what the current protocol is on Celebrity cruises with regards to masks? Last I read they were not required once on the ship. Is this still a true statement? Thank you everyone in advance.
