With all of the changes to Platinum/Diamond status due to Covid, I'm wondering if you can still go to your cabin as soon as you board the ship? Or do you have to wait until everyone else gets access...at whatever time that may be?

You can drop off your luggage and or carry on when you board and then leave.

Has anyone cruised Princess lately that can tell me if they’ve been broadcasting the NFL Playoff’s? Would be nice to watch the Super Bowl on the big screen at the pool!!! 🐯

They will have on the big screen and also in you room in case it’s raining or too cold.

I got a complimentary specialty dining for 1 night (or afternoon I assume) for my booking.  Do I have to wait to reserve this onboard, or is there a way to do this ahead of time.  I did a search here but couldn't find an answer.  I looked on the Medallion app (boy I hate this app) but couldn't find anything there either.

    Thanks for any help,

I had a free dinner and on the first night go to the restaurant you want and make a reservation, I was told they pre assigned me to the French restaurant which I didn’t want so they changed it to the steakhouse.

There has been lots of people on this board that have said there is a propulsion issue which is why 2 weeks before your sailing, Carnival sends out a letter stating there is a change in order of ports and you go to Puerto Vallarta Monday, Mazatlan Tuesday and Cabo Wednesday and that time is changed to 6:30 am -3 pm

There is NO propulsion issue look the the map on your tv the ship can go 21.5 knots which is the normal speed for a ship. Carnival is giving that  BS excuse for months now.

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer to the COVID testing, but I understand the itinerary reversal is due to propulsion issues and the ship isn’t going as fast as it’s supposed to, which means it’s taking longer to get to ports.

That is not the case the Panorama has been operating a full speed for months, I was on the Oct30 and Dec 4 sailing. That is a lame excuse that Carnival is using.
