With all of the changes to Platinum/Diamond status due to Covid, I'm wondering if you can still go to your cabin as soon as you board the ship? Or do you have to wait until everyone else gets access...at whatever time that may be?
You can drop off your luggage and or carry on when you board and then leave.

You still need to make your own reservations ahead of time.
No you don’t because you have to pay when you make the reservation ahead of time.

If you do not use up all of your OBC during the first leg of your b2b sailing on the same ship, does it carry over to the 2nd week?

It’s right on the menu and they will accommodate your wishes and it’s well worth the price.

I don’t trust the snail Mail so I pick it up at the port.

Was just on the Majestic and it was once a day . Outside your door you press privacy or service room.

No problem at all.

The earliest time you can get is 12-1230 they start letting people in the building at 1030 to check all your paper work and they usually start boarding at around 1130.

Has anyone cruised Princess lately that can tell me if they’ve been broadcasting the NFL Playoff’s? Would be nice to watch the Super Bowl on the big screen at the pool!!! 🐯

I got a complimentary specialty dining for 1 night (or afternoon I assume) for my booking. Do I have to wait to reserve this onboard, or is there a way to do this ahead of time. I did a search here but couldn't find an answer. I looked on the Medallion app (boy I hate this app) but couldn't find anything there either.
Thanks for any help,
Stefani
I had a free dinner and on the first night go to the restaurant you want and make a reservation, I was told they pre assigned me to the French restaurant which I didn’t want so they changed it to the steakhouse.

Have they done any dancing water shows & if so do you have any photos?
Thanks for all of your great photos.
Tom😀
They are not doing it any more.

It’s a very small pool more like a bath tub, the Vista class ships have a much better Havana pool area . The Havana area on the Mardi Gras is a letdown.

Are they currently allowing the "bags" of laundry for Platium members to be processed on Carnival ships?
Yes

There has been lots of people on this board that have said there is a propulsion issue which is why 2 weeks before your sailing, Carnival sends out a letter stating there is a change in order of ports and you go to Puerto Vallarta Monday, Mazatlan Tuesday and Cabo Wednesday and that time is changed to 6:30 am -3 pm
There is NO propulsion issue look the the map on your tv the ship can go 21.5 knots which is the normal speed for a ship. Carnival is giving that BS excuse for months now.

My cruise is not until February. Can I cancel without penalty?
You can cancel if your cruise is up to Jan. 14 without penalty.

Was this at the port or the airport? I'm curious how long it takes to get to the Long Beach Airport testing site once you get your bag. I heard it's in the parking lot somewhere and they ahve drive up testing so probably not that close.
At the port.

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer to the COVID testing, but I understand the itinerary reversal is due to propulsion issues and the ship isn’t going as fast as it’s supposed to, which means it’s taking longer to get to ports.
That is not the case the Panorama has been operating a full speed for months, I was on the Oct30 and Dec 4 sailing. That is a lame excuse that Carnival is using.

Color me crazy, but I am thoroughly unimpressed with Guy's Burgers. I preferred the old seaside grill. There was real flavor there.
Totally agree those are the worst burgers at sea.

Bad weather has cancelled many port dockings over my 30 years of cruising. The captain of the ship has the final decision.
It has nothing to do with the weather.
