  1. We had dinner from Cagney's served in our suite one night. They were totally booked up for the night so the butler said to let him know what we wanted about an hour before wanting it delivered. He brought it all at once which didn't bother us any. We had the dining plan and so it covered the cost of it.

ok, so this i can see, if its booked up and you cant get a table... also, in theory i guess you could also eat in your PJs. :-)

  2. 1. You can order from anywhere. You can even combine items from different restaurants.

1a. Most people tip at the end.

    2. It is usually brought all at once. If you want it served as courses, it can be done but the items will be behind the service door down the hall until served. He/she won't be running back to the restaurant to bring each item as a waiter would...just walk down the hall.

    3. Indoor or outdoor on the balcony. Your choice.

    4. Alcoholic beverages delivered by the butler are not covered by the UBP. Butler will deliver but will charge regular price per drink.

this is helpful, thanks. so what is the perk or advantage to dining this way? while private/just the two of you, it seems like the meal will not be as good and it is pointless to pay for drinks that we can get for free in the dining room.

  3. I understand if we book a suite, we can have our Butler bring dinner to us in our suite. Some logistical questions for those of you who have done this:

    1. I always see this advertised and explained as dinner from a specialty restaurant, with normal charges applied. can you order from the free Main Dining Room as well and have it set up/served by your Butler? Do you tip him at the time of the meal or just factor this in to your weekly tip amount that is given at the end?

    2. When you place your order for food, does the Butler bring it in the same way it would be served if you were in the dining room? Meaning, if we order salad, entree, dessert, does it all come at once such that our entree goes cold (sitting under those metal covers) while we eat the salad/starters? Or does he come and serve each course as we are ready for it? This is important as we like to have a meal that is not rushed (unlike many, we dont mind 1.5 to 2 hours for dinner).

    3. If you have a suite that has a table outside as well as one inside, can the delivered dinner be done on the outside table too?

    4. Lastly, we drink ALOT and always have the UBP. HOw does this work if doing in suite dining? Will he constantly bring us drinks or would he just bring bottles of what we like and mix them for us in the suite?
