We decided to rent a car a Sunday to Sunday in April 23. Staying in Orlando the week before cruise. There's 3 ships in port our sailing. I believe there's 3 Budget, Avis, Enterprize What would be the best rental agency option for ease and reliability. There's 9 of us renting 2 vehicles. Any tips or suggestions much appreciated. Leaving this Friday, I am somewhat concerned.

We leave this Friday from NYC and I am searching as I am a little concerned to a certain extend, not about missing a port but what NCL is doing on the ship! 

Hertz has a shuttle I would guess to get to the ship?

Which of these 2 address below is best for dropping off and getting on the NCL Sun on 5/18/18 through AAA Hertz. Is Hertz at the MCO airport or do you need to take a shuttle?

Will my Verizon cell phone and my Tom Tom GPS work while in Aruba?

We are doing a land vacation to Aruba this year instead of a cruise. 2 ladies 59-80-gets around good! I'm looking for some suggestions on things to do. We are renting a car and staying at Caribbean Palm Village.

What beach is best for shade and chairs and we can get drinks and food and where would we park?

Decent, nothing fancy places to eat, neither one of us eat seafood.

What best attractions to see if driving ourselves, I guess parking is my biggest question.

Any tips where NOT to go with a rental car?

Also can someone post the link so I can see what ships are in port. I had it years ago and lost it.

Sorry to hear - hope this is a speedy recovery.

 

Seattle is pretty accessible *except if you're going east-west* where there are blocks with a 20% grade. There are, however, public-access elevators sprinkled around the problematic areas. Google around and I think there are updated maps.

 

Seattle Center/Space Needle/Chihuly Garden and Glass and the various museums, including the Frye, Seattle Art Museum and the Henry at UW are all excellent for wheelchair access. Same for the Aquarium and the Washington State Ferries to either Bremerton or Bainbridge. Bainbridge has a cute pedestrian-scale downtown and waterfront but there are some slopes for whoever is pushing.

 

Not so accessible: the water taxi to West Seattle (the boat is okay but the pier is awful and loading is no great prize), most of Pike Place Market (crowded with brick and cobblestone streets, narrow sidewalks and tourists) and the Underground Tour.

Being you want a ship excursion, then you first need to give that list a look and narrow down your interest.

 

There is a wide range of wheel char user abilities, I'm assuming someone who is pushing you will be with you? Do you have any ambulating ability? Can you do steps? . With some abilities there are a wide range of tours that can be done.

Leaving on the Jewel Friday, looking for shore excursions easy to do in Alaska and Victoria, any suggestions and tips for a first timer in a wheel chair.

We are looking to book everything through the ship as we have a total of $400 off excursions, plus I'm sure it will be easier with a wheel chair.

I have searched and can't seem to find the correct answers. We need a rental car for when we exit the NCL Jewel at pier 66. What pick up address do I use? Then in 2 days we drop it back at the airport.

I am just not sure what dress to put in for pick up.

Any other tips? There's 2 seniors with us, so we can't do much walking.

Depends where you're going, first cruise I brought one swimsuit, now I pack at least 2 sometimes 3. Nice having a clean dry suit for next day at the beach.

There is a LOT to see in Nassau at walking distance, unfortunately - thanks to a LOT of bad mouthing - and special interests that scare cruise travelers to go on Shorex or just stay onboard ... Many do not venture out.

 

Here a list of my favorite places to visit (most at walking distance): John Watling's Distillery, Balcony House, Fort Fincastle, Graycliff Hotel, the National Art Gallery, Pompey Museum, Arawak Cay, Queen’s Staircase, Christ Church Cathedral, Garden of Remembrance, Government House, Nassau Public Library and Museum ... Have written about all and have great photos as well on my signature website.

What would be the best things and how to get there for a group of adults, 2 of which can't walk far. Booked last minute and no time for planning.
