  1. Yea that’s kinda what I thought, was hoping for some good news for PBI because I can get home much quicker than flying out of FLL but sounds like that just makes sense.
  2. Is it easy to get a ride share when disembarking after a cruise in port Everglades. We’ve cruised from Canaveral many times and there were very few ride shares available.
  3. Just wondering of experiences flying in and out of PBI to/from a Ft Lauderdale cruise? PBI has lower priced flights and better times but wasn’t sure of transportation. Uber/Lyft the best option or any shuttles available?
  4. We are coming in the day before our cruise and we land before noon, anyone have any specific hotels that have allowed you to check in early or that will hold luggage? Flight lands around 10am. Thanks
  5. Go down to deck 3 dining room and ask for Jacob the head waiter. He is great and get him to seat you around table #8 with Mari and Gman in the back. Best on the ship! Tell them Chris and Jamie from a few sailings ago say hi and that we miss them.
  6. I’m taking your advice and moved to the next week and going symphony to Aruba. Seems like the best decisions to get the ship I like and the ports as well.
  7. Yea I get it, I love the size of oasis class and how everything always seems to be spread out. From my YouTube videos that I’ve watched odyssey almost has an old carnival ship feel, like really old carnival ship with new amenities lol. I was hoping I was missing something or someone could tell me why they liked odyssey. The itinerary is 8 days vs 6 on symphony and it’s Aruba vs Haiti and Nassau lol.
  8. Trying to choose between two cruises (odyssey or symphony) in terms of ship what are the pros/cons to Odyssey vs an Oasis class ship? I’ve only been on oasis ships so wondering if it’s a huge difference?
  9. Fwiw you can buy 1 UBP and 1 Ultimate refreshment package but you have to call to do it, I just did it last night for an upcoming cruise. My wife doesn’t really drink alcohol so it works out great.
  10. I can see my cabin # in the app in the barcode of my boarding pass (it’s definitely an ocean view balcony) but it just hasn’t been assigned to me yet and the cabin # still says GTY. If it’s not corrected in the next week or so I will reach out to them as our cruise isn’t until October 1.
  11. I am booked in an ocean view balcony guarantee on Allure for October. I was able to log in originally when I booked the cruise a few weeks ago and bid for jr suites, grand suite, etc which I did. I woke up to all my bids being cancelled and when I go back in to Royal up it’s giving me options to bid on inside and ocean view cabins which are below what I already have. I assume this is because I’m on a guarantee and room hasn’t been selected yet by Royal?
  12. Was about to purchase the DBP for our allure cruise coming up in October from Galveston. Am I correct in thinking the package is not active the first day or atleast later the first night when you’re out to sea?
  13. We’ve cruised out of Canaveral 10+ times and fly in the day before, pay the extra money and stay by the port or Cocoa, I’ve seen the Highway have accidents, drawbridge up for a long time because of a boat, weather etc. save yourself the stress and stay by the port or on Cocoa Beach. If driving your own vehicle get a hotel that has cruise/parking and Uber to the port is $10-$15. The parking package at a hotel is less than parking at the port.
  14. We’re on the same sailing with you. I’ll try and remember to check here to see how the week is going or I’ll catch you in the casino.
  15. Traveling on Mardi Gras end of May and our departure flight home is out of Melbourne airport. Does anyone have a recommendation for a shuttle for 3 people to MLB that will pick us up at Port? We have always used other companies to go to Orlando airport and none seem to want to go to MLB. Thanks
  16. Anyone been out of Port Canaveral recently that can tell me if the have a dedicated check in line for CAS? Leaving this upcoming weekend on the Getaway and just wondering if they had a check in line. thanks
  17. The former owners (yes plural) husband and wife split, the husband lost control of LFK and his wife is now the sole owner. Her ex husband is trying to ruin it for her to get it shut down with hopes of coming back and taking over. They have posted fake photos showing fire and damage, none of it is true, all false rumors started just to cause chaos and to keep tourists from visiting and making LFK successful. There is no truth to any of it and it’s still being ran just like before, Joel and his staff will take great care of you.
  18. He must not have changed his location on Facebook but he definitely lives in Roatan and he definitely is the GM of LFK and will take great care of you. Please tell him that Chris & Jamie gave you his contact. I promise you will be surprised at how great it still is.
  19. Joel Silverman on Facebook, says he’s from Laguna California in profile. He is the Gm of LFK now. Reach out to him on messenger and line it up, they will take great care of you. Tell him that Jamie and Chris gave you the info. If you don’t get him that way let me know and I’ll get you his phone #
  20. Sorry I forgot about this post, we literally waited and got off the ship and walked down to the bottom of the hill and found one of their guides. Once we got there we met Joel the new general manager and now have his contact Info. Everything was first class. I will be happy to give you his info if you want to set up your day there directly with him.
  21. We just visited last week, spoke with the owner (lady) and Joel Silverman the GM, they are open fully and everything for us was great. It was a bad situation in the divorce but relax and be rest assured LFK is open just like it’s always been with no issues. Smaller crowd last week but that made it all the more enjoyable. Gen. Mgr. Joel Silverman 346-304-8923
  22. I was Ultra on Mardi Gras last week, the photo I posted of prizes is correct. There was nearly 300 ultra guests on this sailing so you were lucky just to see your name go around on the drawings much less win anything but the casino will be very busy if you like that type of vibe. Overall well run and the gifts were a beach chair, beach hat and straws.
  23. We visited little French key on our Mardi Gras cruise this past week on 5/4/2022. We found everything that’s been posted is a lie. They are up and running with 100% services operating that day. A lot of the same great staff and outstanding food and drinks. We chatted with the new management for a little while and everything that’s being posted is false, little French key is open for business, safe with absolutely no issues for us. If you’re traveling to roatan anytime soon, do yourself a favor and make a visit for the day and help spread the word that LFK is alive, well and ready to welcome you. The new management is great, Joel is the new manager and he’s and staff are working hard to get word out that it’s business as usual.
