Nope! Food is provided by the ship, since its an RCCL private island.
Thank you!

I read on one of the posts about a BBQ lunch on Labadee. Is there a charge for this?
38 days and counting!!

Just returned from our first cruise (we were aboard the Legend -GREAT experience. Review to follow in a few days).
My boyfriend fell head over heels in love with the warm fig, date and cinnamon cake with rum raisin ice cream. I have done some searches but can't seem to find a recipe. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
OMG! I LOVE those fig cakes. On our last cruise, I ordered two or three every night. I would save them for breakfast the next morning. (Not the ice cream, though.)
In my opinion, they are much, much better than the chocolate melting cake.
I would also love the recipe.

We are planning on booking our next cruise on the Liberty. We usually book the cheapest cabin available. We are limited to cabins with a king and two beds (either uppers, sofa, etc.) Normally, we're banished to the Riviera because we are cheap. But this time, we've found cabins available on Lido without much of an increase in price. We've never stayed on Lido. It sounds great, but just wondering if anyone has strong feelings either way. Our one worry is the noise. Anyone have experience there on the Conquest class ships? Thanks.
We were on the Lido Deck on Liberty in 2008. That is our favorite deck for our cabin. (In fact, we booked a Lido Deck cabin for our Splendor cruise next year.) Besides being closer to the pool and the buffet, there are fewer cabins on the deck so fewer people walk around. There are "Star Trek" swooshing doors between the cabin area and the outdoors, so we never heard noise.
We really liked the fact that, while sunbathing, we could quickly and easily go to our cabin if needed.

We are booked in a port-side balcony cabin, while our kids are booked in a starboard-side inside cabin. Both are pretty close to the front of the ship but not very close to each other.
I guess it all depends on who booked the cruise for you...we went directly with an RCCL agent.

OH MY G-D! You got me laughing so hard that my boys had to close the door to the computer room. (Apparently I am disturbing their 24 marathon.)
This is the funniest thing I have ever read!
Um...I assume you meant "thongs"...then again, you might have meant tongs, which I normally associate with picking up things such as chicken legs or hot dogs off the grill. On the other hand, hey if you enjoy hot monkey sex with kitchen utensils, more power to ya! I have a garlic press which is looking pretty good right about now...then again, there's that wisk... :D

Karl with a K was our CD on Liberty two years ago. He is, by far, the best CD we have ever had. He was visible and approachable. He held a little Q&A session one afternoon and patiently answered everyone's questions. He also had a great sense of humor.
We never cared about our CD until we sailed with Karl. He made the cruise that much better.
You are lucky to have him on your ship.
