  1. Booked into two rooms implies that he's paying two fares. Even if it's permitted, it's probably not what you want. Or you could get him a keycard for your room, but then he wouldn't have any of the perks. A 2 br suite would be a good solution, as would simply ensuring that everyone has sufficient "me" time during your cruise. I've traveled with friends and family and it works a lot better when we're not always tied at the hip.
  2. I'm talking about my (non-cruise) experience about a month ago. Never mind NCL, coming from the UK (or anywhere abroad) you need a negative test 1 day or less before travel. I tested in Berlin airport which sounded good, but then everyone on that flight had to manually check in so the agent could check your credentials. Got to the airport 3 hours before and barely made my flight.
  3. Perhaps, but since they're first flying into the US, they'll need a test a day before the flight. Seems as though you could use the same result for both purposes. I've flown back to the US from foreign destinations twice in the last couple months. The first time, I tested in the airport. Sounds convenient, but then your documents need to be manually reviewed. Standing in that line was extremely time consuming. Last time, I took a telehealth antigen test (Beacon Health in Montreal.) I could then upload the results into the airline's Verifly portal and it couldn't have been easier.
  4. Oh, they still do this upon request. I was in a Club Balcony and requested it. Yes, I'm juvenile 🙂
  5. Assuming you're American (thus you'll have a need for those dollars when you get home) the best idea is to take euros out of an ATM. You'll generally get a much better rate than if you were exchanging cash. In some countries (Czechia, for one, not sure about Greece) you do need to be careful of which ATMs to use. Bank ATMs are best. European ATMs tend to ask whether you want their exchange rate or your bank's. ALWAYS choose your bank.
