As OP, I was interested to know when was 'the soonest' I could book a show. before my first VV Cruise. Six cruises later I discovered the answer was not unit I first boarded the ship. I'm speaking from my experience at Terminal V in Miami only but I could never access the ship's wifi before I boarded. I tried almost everything including trying including trying from the 5th-floor parking garage a stone's throw away from the ship. My experience was always before 2 PM because, as a Sea Rover, I was always in my room by then. I guess It is what it is 🙂

My Rockstar suite on 14, under the pool, didn’t go well on Scarlet Night. I’m surprised VV designed their ships with some of their best suites in such a noisy location. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

I'm booked for a Dec. 17th cruise an my app is currently showing a "Restaurants coming soon" date of October 29th, 2023 (see attached). I add an appointment to my phone calendar to book restaurants first thing on Oct, 29th.

The cabins I was looking at were single solo directly above The Manor. Can you imagine?

You will receive this solo letter if you booked a solo cabin. With that said; I am pretty sure the solo activities are open to all solos on board. I've never been to the Razzle Dazzle solo event but went to several of the meet and greet events on embarkation day. There were about 15-20 solo passengers at these meet and greets and is a good time to scope out the who's who traveling solo.

If you're referring to events like Duel Reality, those can only be booked once onboard and connected to the ship's wifi (at least it was this way for my last 6 cruises). Regarding solo gatherings, there we 2 on my four day cruises. One during debarkation at 5 p.m. (up on the athletic deck) and another solos' party on day 2 or 3.

I have to say VV cruises are the most inclusive when it comes to dress. Other ways too. I was expecting VV to be 'windjammer barefoot cruise' casual so wasn't planning on packing anything but shorts on my first cruise. I decided differently at the last minute and packed long pants. I'm glad I did. The vibe at night was far more sophisticated than expected. There was casual attire for sure but far more chic and stylish attire than expected. With that said, it's a 'nobody judges you, nobody cares' crowd. Wear what you want but, take a jacket. It's cold onboard at night.

We were there fall, 2019 and were surprised at how warm it was. Light jackets during the day.

Only walk through metal detectors used for people in Miami. Bags go through x-ray.

I ordered a burger and eggs (poached). The burger came out immediately but the eggs, cooked to order, came out 5 minutes later. I’m happy to have cooked to order eggs.

I boarded yesterday and my bar tab went from $300 to $400 overnight. Lots of accounting things happen onboard while we sleep.

That’s normal. VV is showing the bonus $100 bar tab in lieu of the shake for champagne option. But for us it’s the same dollar amount. My guess is they are encouraging us to use it for drinks at the bar vs for Moët champagne.

I’m sitting in pre boarding lounge waiting to board. It’s as if DBE never ended😎 I did have to call sailor services to link my sailor club status and apply DBE to my booking. But all is good.

Agree with the above comments. You must carry off your luggage disembark as soon as the doors open. I got my friend to MIA by 9 for his 10 AM flight.

Did you see a discount code? Florida residents were getting a 10% then 5% discount but I had to place my booking on 24 hour hold and call sailor services twice to apply these discounts??

Good news. I called Sailor Services who was able to add DBE to my May 3rd booking so extension confirmed. “good job” cantgetin 😃😎

Can you paste the VV link to this announcement please. I’m not finding it on VV.

I just checked my add-ons for my May 3rd cruise and DBE are not showing up yet. I will text my TA (who is currently on board Scarlet now) to confirm if I’m am going to get DBEs for this cruise.
