  1. Same here, 7 future cruises booked, all fares are currently higher than the fare we had previously booked. Sometimes a "sale" is not really a "sale." Buyer Beware!
  2. Same here, app would not work with VPN.
  3. Even though we have a fantastic TA, I check fares directly on the Princess web site. If I find a reduction, I send an email to our TA.
  4. We leave the cable connected the entire cruise. Room Stewards have never had an issue with the cable. Btw, the hardest step of the process is plugging the HDMI cable to the back of the TV. There is not a lot of space to get your hand in there and I always need to use a flashlight.
  5. Great for you guys! We are a couple of years younger, but have the same disease! Our 7 booked cruises amount to 220 sea days!
  6. No, a lot of price reductions are for "new bookings" only. Pre-pandemic this was not the case. 🤷‍♂️
  7. Currently, we have only seen LG TV's in cabins, on Princess ships.
  8. We currently have 7 cruises booked thru 2025. I check prices several times a week. Last week, we saved $600 pp on one of our 2024 cruises.
  9. Below are the adapters we use to stream via the TV and the pop-up screens on the TV. With the below adapter, you can charge your device while streaming.
  10. And now a 5.0 earthquake near Ojai, 20 miles west of us! Shook the house pretty good. What else!
  11. We just had a 5.0 earthquake 20 miles west of us! What else are we going to have!!!
  12. Soap bars are a thing of the past. We prefer bars, so we always bring our own.
  13. We live an hour north of San Pedro, Western San Fernando Valley, no rain here. Maybe by noon time?
  14. I couldn't remember, but looking at the diagram looks like you have to go back to the elevators to cross to the other side.
  15. @wallyj We hope is all goes smoothly. For us in LA area, looks like Sunday afternoon and night will be the worst of the storm. 🤷‍♂️
  16. When booking a cruise on the Sapphire, we always try to book E731, mini-suite with the large covered & angled balcony. We have this cabin booked for the 32-day, April 2025, South Pacific voyage, roundtrip LA. We booked it the same day the itinerary was released.
  17. @wallyj What are your current sea conditions? How was the stop in Ensenada?
  18. Sorry, but you can't call what they bring you "Champagne!" I know we are wine snobs, but that stuff is undrinkable. 🥂
  19. Here is a link to a recent thread that is on topic...
  20. This past November, we were on the Regal's Med/TA. The crossing occurred during the first week of December. We had perfect warm weather for all 6 sea days to Ft Lauderdale. We spent the whole time in the Sanctuary!
  21. Same here, all of our 7 booked cruises are gone from the app. 🤷‍♂️
  22. We were on the Discovery this past New Year's in a mini-suite. Our bed was extremely comfortable and not hard at all.
