  1. I have absolutly no compassion for carnival anymore over the debt they incurred durring the shutdown for one reason alone...they have ordered 2 1billion dollar+ ships. Get rid of that debt first then build new ships.

Hello! I'm about to book a cruise on the Carnival Horizon and we want an interior room with 2 single beds (no pull down). Our choices are Floors 1, 2, 6, 7 or 8. Which floor would be the best for this type of room and would it be better to be in the middle or aft of the boat. Thanks if advance for your help!!

If I had to have an interior on Horizon, I would book a cabin on deck 1, if I am able bodied, the reason is when you get back from port it is easy to go up one flight of stairs to get back to your room. Also you can look into a 4J, they are at the front of the ship, and have windows at interor prices. Yes you are looking at the secret deck, but it's almost like having your own baclony.

I’m going to be updating my New Orleans Parking page in the next week which includes park n cruise hotels so I may have a better answer for you then. Without digging any deeper It looks like these are some from my current list that still have packages. Some limit you to 7 or 8 days of parking so not all of them will work for a b2b.

My personal preference is either staying at one of the hotels around Fulton and parking at Fulton or staying out of town and driving in to Fulton. I don’t know where you are coming from but I come from the west so south Baton Rouge works good for me.

If I were coming from the north probably Covington…and I’d be making a trip to the Abita brewery/tasting room.

  4. I would change things a little, Leave Blue Red and Gold as is, then with Plats, Get rid of priority Boarding, but keep early check in, Get rid of the Past guest party Get rid of the 1 drink per person Durring Sea day brunch, and give 2 or 3 vouchers for a free drink of there choice per day.  Add Plat + and add 1 free specilty dining on 5+ day saiings, or Steakhouse Selection on ships w/o specialty dining also 4 free drinks per day.  Dimond would stay the same except 2 specilty dining and 5 free drinks, and Dimond + would be 3 specialty dining, and 6 free drinks per day, and special Lunch with the captian.  JMHO on what should be done.

Hello, my husband has a spinal cord injury and has to have a scooter. Can anyone with experience tell me if the Mardi Gras is easy to navigate with a scooter and does it have sufficient restrooms for a scooter to navigate?

The scooter must meet the with guidelines, along with having to be able to be collapsable The scooter can not stay outside the cabin empty.  Anything over 21 inches must have a accesable cabin.

As for your question, the hallways with rooms are kind of small but a scooter can get though them, and there are at least 1 accesable Bathroom on each public level, aka 5, 6, 7 Lido at least.  Good luck

Just finished booking the first leg.  Our tentive plans are leaving here on Saturday sometime, and staying at a park and cruise hotel.  Nothing planed in Progresso, In 1st cosmel we know of a little All inlusive that is not far up from the Royal Peir for $40 and they only take 50 a day.  It's small but if you and Patty are intrested,I can give you the location.  We have no plans for Costa Maya yet, but Cozmel 2 We are planing Paradise Beach, and Steak House for our actual 25th Anniversery.  See you on board.

Mobile moves theirs pretty good. On the return they have a designated elevator for each floor of the garage. Employees working each elevator. And that elevator only goes back and forth from that floor. So you just get in the line for the proper elevator and it moved quick.

Just a question, is fulton Garage set up for a B2B?

Hey there! Glad to hear that you're going to do the B2B. Will that be your first one? Our planning for that trip is in the tentative stages but we're thinking two nights in Pigeon Forge and three nights in NOLA pre cruise. Probably won't finalize anything until we're back from the Vista. 😃

We are doing our first B2B. it is our 25th anniversery. we had something blow up in our faces last week, so we want to be on a ship and no less than 5 days is minimum. The cheepest 5 day cruise I could find goes to the bahamas, so not that one.  This is the second cheepest I could find. we are paying the april 5th one off first then adding the one before.

  9. To tell you the truth, it is easy for us to fly to PC or Tampa for a cruise than to Miami, becuse my dad picks us up form the airport, and we have a place to stay and transportation to the port.  Ann and I are planing to book the Valor on the B2B with you.  I would recomend leaving more than 3 or 4 day's early and stop in Gatlenburg, TN. It is kind of like a small Orlando, and have dinner shows there as well.  It is a little bit past the end of I-81.
