    On my 2013 cruise ,I had 4 $100.00 Arvest bank gift cards. I just went to the service desk on the ship and they cashed them out for cash ( no fees involved) she gave me half and applied the other half to my account. As requested by me. This was on ncl Pearl

    Food & Service Not good in "inclusive" Restaurants?

    I'm a newbie to cruising.on our (sister-in-law and myself) very first cruise in 2010.we tried Cagney's (The old menu that included lobster tails)and I don't remember the name but it was a Mexican restaurant (it's no longer there) on the Pearl.then in 2012 my mother and I went to Cagney(again because of the lobster tails)and let bistro(omg to die for) and in 2013 they were offering a three restaurant package for $57 per person,so I purchased for myself my youngest daughter and my son and his wife.(they had never done the specialty restaurants before) The package included Cagney's,le bistro,and the Italian restaurant.they absolutely loved .everything.Cagney's had changed their menu (no lobster),of course I was disappointed but it certainly didn't change the dining experience it was fantastic.now as our special dinner this November I booked Teppan-Yaki.having gone on and on,I will say the specialty restaurants are great,but it has more to do with the specialness of it then the food itself.we use the specialty restaurants as a celebratory dinner.breakfasts and dinners in the main dining room have been nice(i'm not a lunch person) I like to try new things.The only thing I found that I didn't like were kippers at breakfast.but I will try that again since my son told me I was eating them wrong,I guess there's a method lol. Enjoy you're cruise,eat when and where you want,if you order something that not to your liking,they will graciously bring you something else.

    I don't sleep very much the entire week,usually up at 5 AM with room service and lots of coffee ,and we are usually in the casino until 1,2,3,or 4have been the last to leave a couple of times.on Sea days we will usually nap A couple of hours.i'm retired so I can sleep all I want at home.hey I'm on vacation

    Seems like they've illuminated a lot of the perks for the casino at sea VIPs and now is a purchase package available to everyone. Maybe and then maybe not. Sounds like it though it's being mentioned on a couple of different threads

    Silly Reasons For Loving To Cruise

    I've been married almost 44 years my husband has absolutely no desire to take a cruise we retired in 2008. My first cruise was in 2010 second in 2012 third 2013 I'm booked this November and October 2015 and I'm looking into a back to back for 2016. I guess that says it all lol

    Sorry I must've missed read. I don't know the reasoning but they did tell my mother at the airport that she had to have medication in medicine bottles with the RX number. Don't know if it's because she had so many but I do know that that happened nov. 2012. Could be because it was a small airport in Arkansas. I just don't know why. And I'm very sorry for the misinformation.
