  1. Ok. If u booked thur CAS or if u have a CAS free cruise cert. then show them at the check in and they'll give you number 2 blue boarding ticket that's the casino vip. Number 1 boarding ticket is for the heaven guests and the casino VIP lounge is on the opposite side of the checking. We are talking about the NYC pier, right? I used it back in March and my casino vip boarding ticket is blue number 2. Just show them something with the CAS then you are CAS vip. Done it 2 million times.

Okay this sounds fantastic. But it would be the pier out of Miami and the next cruise is out of Houston but thank you so much for the heads up ,gives me something new to check out .again thank you

  2. I don't drink at all except water so I tend to order my free drinks at the casino and give them to my cruise mates. Also, remember to use the casino VIP checking so you'll be on board in 5 mins and you can also use their VIP lounge at the pier.

But I don't know that I'm a casino VIP, but that certainly sounds great but where is the VIP lounge on the pier

  3. I mainly play poker and was surprised that I got a free cruise. However, I am a platinum and do put in 14 hrs a week in poker so not sure if that qualified me for the free cruise. You have to book thur CAS if you're comped as in my case I booked my thur CAS. Just give them your free cruise cert. number and tell them what date and where and that's it. The free cruise also comes with the free drink card when you are on board. If you are not comped, you can still book thru CAS but you only get 10% discount. However, they tend to sell you the higher end cabin so you ended up don't save much. As for the different tiers, not sure how that works since I got the free cruise as to someone who actually paid so I never asked the price differential.

Anne, from my understanding which may be wrong. I do believe that the casino comped cruises come with the drink card whether it's directly from Norwegian CAS or your local casino. At least it has been in my case. But what I have noticed is that whether you lbooked through the casino or not the first time you arrive at the casino board ship you need to get a players card. And I do believe that once you've reached 1500 points they will either offer or you can request a drink card but I think the drink cards are leveled. I'm not a big drinker, and I drink mostly wine rum and Coke Bahama mamas that level. On my last cruise in November I ordered a white Russian and my little gal Eda was so sweet but she said that wasn't included. Didn't bother me I love white wine. So the tier level I have no clue. But you need to book your cruise and Hey, like they say cruise like the Norwegian. Hope to see you all on one of my future cruises have a blast you guys

  4. I have had major changes with this years cruise ughhhh but we are definitely set and have been for a couple of months NO MORE changes allowed I told him lol

We are back booked on the breakaway. And as astonishing as it might be this was my DH idea so we didn't have to travel to Florida for a cruise we can leave right from our own backyard basically. So what I got was a comped Oceanview cabin and we upgraded to a balcony cabin. This past weekend I received a postcard direct from and NCL. Offering me $150 free play. I figured I would call them up and ask if they could apply it to my existing reservation. Not only did they say they can apply it to my reservation they told me this offer was also good for a comped balcony cabin and the price of my cabin would go down $500. You sound like me cruising and gambling are so much fun lol

You are so right I never knew how enjoyable it was as a matter fact I was one of those "oh my goodness I can't swim well enough to go in the ocean people "until my dad told me that it didn't matter if I was an Olympic swimmer or not . that if that ship went down so was I.lol the year I took my mother he made me promise that if we had to abandon ship that I would push her first.lol my plan is at least once a year while I have you years left. I really do enjoy this site. It's almost like a cruise family

  5. [quote=cruise_ i'm not sure if the Cherokee Casino in solemn Springs Arkansas is a partner of NCL but I do know that the two that were given away by the casino wereNCL cruises and there was an NCL cruise line representative at the event. have a wonderful time

  6. I play high stake poker at the Maryland Live casino on a weekly basis and got a free 7 night cruise for 2 from NCL last month. Only need to pay taxes. Going on the Gem to NE this fall and very much looking forward to it. Here I come for that lobster roll and do expect to pay $ 20 unless NCL serves it on board. Just wishful thinking :).

By no means am I a high-stakes player but in 2010 I won an all expense paid cruise through Norwegian and our local casino, it included airfare port fees and taxes etc. the only thing it didn't include was the mandatory tipping it also included a drink card for my guest and myself through the casino I guess I played enough that they wanted me back I wasn't able to go in 2011. Norwegian sent me a certificate I think it was cruise waves Casinos at sea and I booked for 2012. And then again in 2013 and then my son and I both received a certificate from the local casino stating if we showed up this night everybody got a free cruise well you know what everybody did so we're booked for November of this year and then guess what I got another cruise wave certificate from Norwegian that stated if I booked before a certain date I would get a free cabin and I'm no dummy I booked so my daughter and I will be on the getaway Halloween of 2015 and this time we get a balcony all of the others have been Oceanview the one this year is an obstructed Oceanview and of course we have to pay the port fees and taxes mandatory tipping and transportation to the designated port city but my goodness is this fun I had never been on a cruise before 2010 and my daughter took her first cruise last year she will continue to be my cruise buddy as long as the offers keep coming I know one day there going to stop but I know we're covered through 2015 but yippie Carribbean here we come it's like two cruising for the price of one

  7. I know that things occur but less than 30 minutes ago I called the direct number the 877 number for Norwegian a recording came on and asked if I needed a reservation for if I had one of course I chose that I had one with and three rings it was answered by a live person in less than five minutes on my questions were answered and the representative could not have been more cordial just saying sometimes it's just the luck of the draw I was very lucky I got a magnificent representative just hoping your next encounter will be as nice as mine was

  9. Thank you so much it looks exactly like what I'm looking for. I'm in my 60s and when we were in our 40s we adopted a special needs child she's 18 now. I took her on her first cruise last year and playa Mia ,well she didn't like the ocean she said it smelled and felt funny. Well she is definitely a foodie, lol, and with the smaller crowds I think this will be the perfect place. Thank you so much for your quick response have a wonderful cruise I know we will

  10. This sounds like absolutely the perfect excursion. Question. What is the cost for the excursion and what is included. From the sounds of everyone's reviews I'm planning to take my daughter in November thank you

  12. Absolutely dumb question but I have to ask! Is Nachi Cocom an excursion in Cozumel. If so I can't find it listed anywhere but it certainly sounds amazing. If this is the next version what is is the fee and what's included in the fee thank you in advance

  13. Never been to Belize, but I found this written about Moho Chocolate right within Tourism Village...thinking about a stop there in August.

    Moho Chocolate Factory & Café

    Moho Chocolate Factory & Cafe

Owner Jeff Pzena has created our absolute must stop in Belize. He buys raw beans direct from the farms (giving them a better price for their produce by cutting out the middle man). Moho then roasts the beans, mixes them with pure cane sugar and fresh milk (for the milk chocolates), tempers the chocolate and packages it right there on the premises. Although the chocolate is heavenly as is, they also add ingredients like lime and sea salt, fresh peanuts, ginger and ground chili to make your mouth think it has died and gone to heaven.

Although it may seem silly, take the tour. It’s only $2 and takes about 5 minutes considering how small the shop is. However, the reason you want the tour is the samples that go with it. Trust me, you’re going to get a lot more than $2 worth of chocolates with the milk shake, brownie, and samples of all of the flavors they make. On the way out, grab some cookies and brownies to take back to the ship and a milkshake for the walk. You won’t regret it. And grab a few bags of the assorted squares. They make great gifts.

The shop is located in the Front Street Tourist Village in Belize. When you get off the tender from the ship, turn left and head about 300 meters down from the Diamonds International shop (which is also a good place to grab some fruit punch). Although this is a small operation, they have plans to expand production to be able to ship out of Miami.

I am very confused ! I love the idea of going to the chocolate factory I also like the idea of getting to sample and bring some back to this ship and some for gifts. But is that not a problem reentering the US. I thought we were not allowed to bring any food products. I'm new at this so bear with me

  14. And I'm really sorry about your experience with customer service I've only been on three cruises but I'm booked for two more and every time I needed to contact customer service experience has been great, I must've just been lucky

  15. I think the rules have changed on the soda package that you're talking about just this last November my daughter and I went, she purchased the soda package I did not we were in the same cabin. She was 18, the only difference was there was a sticker on her room card and there wasn't one on mine

  16. Back to the onboard credit issue(obc) from what I understand it can be used for almost any charges aboard ship except the automatic tipping charges which I believe are $12 a day per person. Over and over I read complaints about the automatic tipping charges. This I don't understand. I approve of the mandatory tipping or automatic charges, even if you had two meals in the main dining room and one snack a day you'd be paying more than the 10 to 15% rate you would pay in any on land restaurant. Plus you're clean room ,everything. Our first cruise ever was in 2010,(we were late bloomers) but have been lucky enough to be able in 2012 and 2013, we will be going on the jewel November 2014 and are booked and paid for for the getaway in 2015. We make sure we take small bills for tipping, on top of the mandatory charges. We just work that into our spending budget. We save all year to go on the cruise and every one has been amazing on every cruise the crew and staff have gone out of their way to make me feel important and special. And if a few dollars here and there can show them my appreciation i'm going to do it. And for those that go to the desk and remove those charges I'm sorry but shame on you.

  17. My daughter and I are going to Belize in November of this year. Mikayla is a special needs child she has Williams syndrome and has no problem with mobility. We have been viewing the excursions available through the cruise lines in Belize. After reading the reviews on the buggy ride it sounds like an absolute perfect fit. She turned 18 on our last year's Cruise which was her first and Loves loves loves shopping! My question is when you rent the buggy for the day will they stop all the little shops so you can go in and do your shopping and then come back and they're waiting for you. I would definitely pay more if this were the case. She has no interest in seeing the ruins she's very emotional and seeing the poverty level would depress her for the rest of the cruise. I know that sounds silly but she is very very sympathetic towards others. I really want her to have her shop till you drop days. I would appreciate any response and thank you in advance

  18. So when you say as of April ncl has stopped their casino comps do you mean the free spa treatments ,dinner for two ,a bottle of champagne now and then .all of it .they stopped it. What's the incentive to play ,most people don't win, it's just the fun of playing they want you to keep coming back they need to offer some incentive. I'm not a high roller or anything like that but I have received at least two or all of the above mentioned every cruise. I have my fourth coming up in November I know the comps aren't free you left all the money in the machine but at least it makes you feel like you're getting a little something extra just my two cents

  19. GeriC, I certainly hope you have a wonderful time ,this year will be my fourth cruise , I was a late starter(56)and my husband and I were married 43 years this June. In 2009 i won an all expense paid for two cruise through our local casino. Due to his back and not being able to hear cruising is not his cup of tea. So the first year I took my sister-in-law then the second year I took my mother the third year I took my youngest daughter and my oldest son and his wife booked the same cruise and then this year I am taking my daughter and my oldest son and his wife are booking the same cruise. All due to winning a cruise in the casino not only does the casino offer free cruises so does NCL. It's like getting to cruise two for the price of one. I love it absolutely love it the first three were Oceanview this one is a little less it's an obstructed Oceanview and the one that were booked and paid for for next October we finally got a balcony on the getaway as long as they're offered I'm going to continue to except this way I get to participate in two of my favorite things cruising and gambling
