since everybody will be there from president down..... i think it will either be about a feature that hasn't been announced by carnival for vista made by a jax company or it will have to do with marketing.
I think it will be more likely that another ship will be added to the JAX port.

......that my wife and I will be very sorry to have booked a Carnival Cruise. She said that Carnival will be filled with loud drunks, the food will suck and why didn't I take her advice and book with Celebrity.
Is there that big of a difference between Carnival and Celebrity?
Our hope is for a decent room, decent food, nice staff and enjoy our ports of Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. The major reason for booking with Carnival is it fit our holiday schedule the best.
I have been on several different cruise lines and when people ask me which one is the "best" I always tell them that at times it's the passengers, or the crew, or the ship, or the ports, or the cabin location that makes the cruise what it is. Carnival is really a good value for the money. If you are not travelling with children or don't like a lot of kids around, I would stay away from holiday, summer and spring break vacations and that is for any value priced cruise line. Holland American and Celebrity tend to cater to an older population where Carnival and Royal Caribbean are a cross-section of age groups. By the way, you will love Half Moon Cay. In my opinion, if the ship would just stay there I would be a very happy person!

10 day May 24th out of Athens because it had Athens and Izmir and they are both on my bucket list.
We did Barcelona, Marseille, Rome and Naples in 2013 and we are excited about being able to do what we missed in those cities. We missed Florence due to high winds so we are excited about getting there. And we spent 3 days in Barcelona in 2013 and fell in love with that city so we plan to spend a day or two there on the back end.
It doesn't hurt that I with weekends and Memorial Day I get 5 "free" days and only have to take 9 vacation days ;)
If anyone is a first timer and I can help with any of the cities we have already visited I will be happy to share our experiences.
What would you recommend in Marseille??

Anyone have any success with email to President or VP Guest Relations for RCCL that didn't receive a "canned" automatic response??
Would like to provide some constructive criticism but seems that once they have your money "nobody really cares what you think".....

In Aruba until 10p.m. What is the best seafood restaurant where you can see the sunset?

I don't mind the new program and tiers however in fairness to all of us who booked an upcoming cruise prior to the November 25th date for sailing in 2014 that should have been a major consideration. I would have thought that "beginning" 2014 any new bookings should have been the starting point.
