My echo to all those that carry everything on themselves!

On all the cruises we have taken, we ALWAYS take our luggage on the ship ourselves. We never check our bags with airlines and we love being able to unpack our bags as soon as our cabin on the ship is ready. It is reassuring that we have all our bags. Its not an issue for us to wheel our bags. Good luck!

If the OP would have done the CC homework, it is well documented that it is a much more subdued atmosphere. Yeah I can't wait.

To sleep till late and wonder why there is no pool side lounger and not try other eating options is an immature picky point of view. Sorry but it is obvious they were clueless what to expect.

I was watching the webcam of the Regal! Goose bumps as the captain played the Love Boat theme song as they left the port. We have never sailed on Princess but this made my day!

Thinking of using some of our OBC for special meals? Can someone please give me the uncharge on the Silhouette restaurants? Which one is the best value? We normally just dine in the MDR.

I am starting to set clothes out for our Silhouette western Caribbean cruise. Sure is NICE not thinking of formal attire. We are going very chic, DH in nice jeans and polo golf shirt. I will be in dressy capris and nice top. Hooray for the dress code change!

I am reading more and more that do NOT take their passports with them when they leave the ship to a port. What is the consensus? We have always taken ours and no issues. But guess there is always a chance. I have copies of our PP and the passport card.

Please advise.

My DH looks chic all the time in nice jeans and golf shirt. NO jacket or even long sleeved shirt this cruise on Silhouette. We just do MDR. :)

We are booked to take the Shore excursion sponsored tour to Dunns River Falls/ Bamboo Beach Break. I am having 2nd thoughts, please, can anyone give me an honest opinion. My DH wanted to do this but I am not up to doing the falls. I would like to watch, and hang out on the beach, anyone done this recently.

My DH will be climbing the falls, I have just had a hip replacement so NO WAY for me. But I would love to be able to see him as he climbs. Where do I go to see him?

Thanks Many useful tips. I have a few small flashlights with hangers. A couple tea lights is not enough some times.

We get up in the middle of the night and don't want to bother each other in the cabin.
