Very disappointing in RCCL communication. A pet peeve of mine in any relationship. And RCCL has benifited from several cruises from us.

If we get to Tortola, can anyone please help me with Long Bay Beach,

the best way to get there, the facilities etc,?

FYI:

I sent an email directly to BVI port authority regarding this as to confirm if the Jewel would be in port Mar 1. Just this week got a reply and it said NO, the Jewell will NOT be in port. So after all the back and forth questions, concerns, I have no idea who to believe. Guess have to wait and see where we end up. As long as there is sun, I don't really care.:)

We are scheduled for early seating on an upcoming Jewel cruise. Is changing to MTD possible? I know we have made table changes as soon as we embarked but I was not sure about the MTD.

Some of our best pictures were taken on a casual dress night. Even barefoot in the photo, in a very relaxed casual scene that is more normal for us. So fun! We have taken 9 cruises and the upcoming one will be the first cruise NOT dressing "formal". I am really looking forward to looking sharp and neat without all the fuss! Enjoy every day being your self. Much more relaxing.

Beach with easy access, food available, restrooms, loungers and umbrella on nice sand, preferably with natural shade. Nudity ok. Water no rocks to fall over.

Carambola is where we wanted to go this Feb. on our our Jewel cruise, but the beach is closed for a private function, so we are going to Palm Court gardens for the day. No beach but beautiful setting and views.

We are considering spending the day at Long Bay Beach. Does anyone know how to get there from the port? How accessible is the beach from the point of being dropped off by the taxi? I have a minor mobility issue and walking through rocks and hills would not be good for me.

I understand there are places to eat but can anyone give more detail ?

Any info would be appreciated.

I am considering one of these beaches for a day, nice sand, loungers and umbrellas, need the shade. Close proximity to a restaurant or beachside service. Honestly what is the most scenic and desirable for a peaceful day.
