  1. Happy to report: I went to the Loyalty Ambassador's desk while on our Adventure OTS cruise last week. Went there on a Thursday afternoon. Gave them our story and they said -"Uhh, sorry - we'll take care of that"...and that "we see on our computer that your shipment is stuck in processing" (a YEAR+ later!) We did NOT have the internet package but did take advantage of the last day free as a Diamond. (Friday.) Friday afternoon, we get a notification from Fed Ex saying a package would arrive at our house on Monday. It was the Crystal Block! Nice touch RCL! A for the Day!
  2. Just got off an 8 night. My thoughts: Do not expect Oasis class entertainment. Not as many entertainment options Navigating in the casino is VERY tight when busy. And very smokey (Cigarettes) Food was OK Chops was fantastic Chiefs table was fantastic Mixed drinks were good but very inconsistent from place to place and even within the same place. The cruise director bored me to tears The 4 ports we stopped at were fun Not happy that they decided to prime the rust spots in our Junior suite balcony the day we arrived and came back 3 other times to continue touching up the rust - Horrific smell but we just opened the balcony door and then the hallway door - (Mutual suffering I guess. 😋 ) Windjammer was OK and we did eat there several times Chris the guitar entertainer in "Duck & Dog" was fantastic and loads of fun to drink and sing along with.
  3. We have a Junior Suite on Adventure OTS sailing in about a week. (Just two of us and it is an EIGHT night cruise) Have had the reservation for about a 11 months - via a travel agent. All in, (Cruise, taxes, port charges, pre-paid gratuities, travel insurance) we are at: $3,300. 🙃
  4. Really, if you don't like the context and way that the OP asked the question - tough. Start your own thread and ask the better question. But in posting, don't bring your biases unnecessarily and do answer the original question.
  5. Ship: Harmony OTS Destination: Western Caribbean Dates: January 2025 # of Nights: 7 Cabin Type: Ocean view Balcony (We Specified) (4d) Total Price (inc. taxes & port charges, exc. gratuities):$2,031.48 (2 People) Average Price Per Night (per Person - USD): $145.10 Other Perks: $100 OBC
  6. For those that have been on the Adventure of the seas...How are they set up for those that like to walk? (Think Oasis class walking/running tracks) We cruise a lot on the Oasis class ships and realize that they are much bigger and built with differing needs in mind. And, they all have pretty decent walking tracks. What options are on Adventure OTS?
  7. Earned it on the Allure in September of 2022. I emailed CAS
  8. What if you never got your 1st one? (They were 'out')...
  9. You will be fine. They have low grade ambient heating to compensate. Been there...done that...Had the Jalapeno margarita!
  10. Sharks (and the like) have been there longer ... Just saying...
  11. We have a NOON check-in time for Adventure of the Seas in January. What is the earliest check-in time?
  12. Don't do it!!! Thee is so MANY...MANY thing on that island that are free and will not interfere with you vacation enjoyment. Don't Do It...................
  13. I do not know what level of C&A you are but...We are Diamond currently and bought the DBP for our January sailing. AFTER that sailing we will be Diamond Plus. At that point, we will no longer buy the DBP and just use our 5 freed drinks per person per day and pay as we go for the rest. Seems like a no-brainer....or did I miss something.
  14. It might not impact gratuity distribution but it likely impacts promotability off of 3rd shift, shore leave and 'moving up the ladder'. Unless service sucks, I give them 10's. Nobody likes to be a Richard and it is easy to give a helping hand up... IMHO
  15. Goes to show you how often we cruise on smaller ships - ah well...live, love, learn...Sail
  16. We are on Adventure OTS sailing on January 5th, 2024. Still not available...
  17. ...be prepared! They are very 'aggressive' in their desires to get you into their booth. My wife and I were astounded at how pushy and direct they were - getting right in front of you and doing their best to slied you into their booth. We made it half way through (after numerous similar caustic run-ins with the vendors) then turned back...And had to do it all over to get to the beginning of the village. But, one Laba-doozie fixed everything...just saying...
  18. In keeping with normal Royal liturature...it is unclear to me if the price (bid) I make for a Royal Up on a cabin is priced per person PER DAY or per person PER SAILING. (If it were $100 per person is that $200 for the sailing or $200 per day?)
  19. How does one "officially" remove the prepaid gratuity from their tab so that we can pay in cash later to those we feel have earned it? Is there a timing issue once we board?
  20. Can you share the link that shows the schedule? I am not having an y luck locating it on that page??? Grrr.
  21. We are Diamond C&A and will be staying in a Junior Suite. Shold we drop off our luggage at Terminal 5 and THEN park or park and walk WITH our luggage (hopefully level 2)?
  22. Can we reserve in advance or is it first-come, first served?
