What a beautiful wake up! I'm staring out at drizzle and grey skies in PA ...oh well, 32 more days till we "Escape" too[emoji4] thank you for having us with you!

In Europe we only were stamped when we flew into Spain...none of the other ports. But in Alaska there were stamps that you could get at different places like Carcross.

Can't wait..love your reviews..I am the planner too, so much so that usually within a few days of leaving DH turns to me and says"where did you say we are cruising to?" [emoji6]

Or bring clothes that don't wrinkle? Nobody cares about what people are wearing, hopefully they are having too much fun!

When I recently called NCL about my booking I asked my rep were there any upgrades currently he could offer. We had an ocean view picture window. He checked and offered me a balcony guarantee for $50 per person. I think it was about a second and a half to decide! Have you checked to see how full your sailing is at this point? More cabins available would equal more chance to upsell? I guess try your TA but then maybe call the regular call line directly to NCL?

Just went into my NCL to finish my booking information and saw that the shows Brat pack and After Midnight are back on the site for bookings. Brat pack is now a free show in the main theatre on the Escape.

The only other show that I saw was the Wine lovers the musical for a fee. We are on the April 16, 2016 cruise, so i'm not sure about any earlier dates. But, looks like later dates would be available also..hope this information helps

Just talked to NCL and was told they are canceling some of the shows and moving times around. We are on the April 16 Escape sailing. Was also told to keep checking my NCL for the booking times and dates to reappear, and if not booked there can try to book onboard...which I was trying hard to avoid[emoji53]. Did check for up sells while I was on the phone and managed to get a balcony guarantee for a great price..so not all bad today!

I didn't receive an email but am also on the April 16th cruise. I had previously booked both shows and don't see anything on my NCL now. This is very disappointing in that the shows are a big part of my enjoyment of my cruise...I hope there will be some replacement that will be of similar value and quality.

Never had a very long wait for 2 people, if at all. They usually do ask you if you would mind sharing a table, but if you don't want to they usually seat you very quickly.

Hi, hoping someone can help! I always read about separate lines for latitudes members, but have not actually ever seen one:) Last time we checked in at Miami it was a madhouse...lines so long that it was ridiculous! So, back to the question...is there any sort of separate line? I saw some people going to the center of both lines and being helped, but there were no signs and no one to ask, so we just got in line and waited and waited...

What time did you check into the port in Miami? How were the lines? In November, the wait was horrible because of all the traffic mess because they closed I-95 that morning. Is there any such thing as a latitudes line in Miami, because we must have missed it if there is...

So wonderful to see LMM and her fun family back on the high seas again! Looking forward to reading :)

We have been on Carnival and Princess and just love NCL. I really like the casual dress for dinners and if you feel like dressing up you can do that too! There is always something to do, the shows are top notch in my opinion and can't wait to see both of the complementary broadway shows on the Escape. Anytime dining works for us...after all you never know what time you will be hungry that particular day...so if you want to see a show and eat late you can do that or come back from a day of sightseeing and take a nap instead of rushing to get to an early dinner reservation. It truly does work! If you go at 6:00-6:30 p.m. you may have to wait a few minutes, but we have been handed a buzzer and just go to a nearby bar for a drink while waiting.

I've never heard of this. On our last 2 cruises, we booked and attended more than 1 comedy show. Many people do, since the cruises have more than 1 comedian.

When did you book the shows? Did you use the onboard screens?

We were on the Sky in November and still had to sign for every drink and while still in port had to pay Miami tax on the drinks there. We kept all our receipts just for fun and DH added them up when we came home and we drank $813.00 worth of wine beer and mixed fun cocktails..it wasn't hard to do at all...it was really fun trying drinks and wines that I probably wouldn't have purchased because of the price. Have fun!

Clean1owner, thanks for your reply. My husband and I are up for anything. We want to see Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas. I've heard there is a beautiful large park somewhere. We like good food and alcohol. beer/wine/cocktails. Hope to not have to see a Dentist! :) Any input would be appreciated!

You may mean Park Guell? It was designed by Gaudi and contains some incredible architectural mosaics and has an unbelievable view of the city!

So do the shots/drinks exceed the $11/drink allowance for the UDP?

We were in the Ice Bar and a flat fee per person included 2 drinks inside the ice bar...my hand was shaking so bad, I think i spilled most of them on the floor:rolleyes:

Nice photo op with our friends but I would never do it again...once experienced was enough for me!

The Epic is a lot of fun...different vibe imo than on a smaller ship. We have fun on them all!

Yes, you can still get the $125 slot play..just did it on the Sky

We just got off of the Sky on Friday and didn't notice any problems. Even at dinner where others had complained about their drinks not coming we always had our glasses of wine in a timely manner. The pool area was a little slow, but if you didn't want to wait, just go up to the bar!

Just got off the Sky you could get off as early as 7:45 we got off at 9am

Headed out on the Sky on Monday, November 16! First time cruisers here so we picked a short one. Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary!
