Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about the process. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Yes indeed, thank you for the wonderful pics and commentary! If time permits, would you let us know how Regent is handling the required testing for Bermuda. Luckily for you, Bermuda is at the end of your trip vs. the beginning like the following cruise (which we are on). Thanks again.

Thank you very much for reporting in.

I see the Navigator is coded Orange on the CDC dashboard, and that the CDC has started an investigation and ship remains under observation. Not sure how long it has been at Orange. Any news of this onboard and/or changing practices being put into place?
-
There is a small selection of D, E, and F still available. The Regent website is not updated in real-time.
-
Now that the deposit deadline is behind us… a heads up that there is some limited availability now in the D/E/F categories if you are interested.

The January 7 Miami-Lima has disappeared from the website, as we all knew it would. No replacement yet.
Thanks so much for keeping a sharp eye on this!

A heads up on Regent’s insurance for those who might be considering it. The policy will ONLY cover up to $50,000 p/p for cancellation or up to $75,000 p/p for trip interruption (for covered reasons). It’s spelled out in the detailed policy and I confirmed this with Regent this morning.

This cruise is now showing sold out at all categories except inside. As I recall the pattern, that was what happened just before other cruises were canceled. I am still helping in this case that the cruise will leave from Miami on the schedule date, with a severely modified itinerary. I am guessing we will hear in the next few days…….
It has been showing this status for over a week now, and I also noticed that the Miami-Lima cruise does not appear at all on some of the “big box” TA web sites when you search on Azamara in Jan 2022. Anxious to see the revised itinerary.

Way too many 7 day sailings for our taste although B2Bs are always possible of course.
Is it just me, or are these itineraries just a big YAWN! Been there, done so many of these places. And so many 7-nighters. Yuk.

Which cruise line cancelled? We are booked on Oceania for Jan 8/22 and beginning to have our doubts. Have heard nothing, but that is no surprise....
Regent canceled a bunch of SA itineraries in the past few days. I've got Azamara to SA booked in Jan '22, but think the odds of that going forward are slim to none. It's great that Regent gave their guests so much advanced notice. I wish SS, Azamara etc. would do the same.

Must be old photos. The casino has been removed.

I voted for Forth. There are (or were) too many “Discovery” vessels out there and it’s not original enough IMHO.
-
This is interesting. Received an email asking to vote on the name for the newest member of the fleet...
Azamara Onward
Onward means going ahead in space or time. It evokes feelings of resilience, positivity, and the endless possibilities of the future. Azamara Onward is a name that shows how far we’ve come, and how we are continuing towards the next chapter of our journey.
Azamara Forth
Forth describes pushing forward in time or moving into view. It is also a homophone, alluding to the fourth sister ship of our fleet. Azamara Forth is a clever name that elicits the excitement of sailing forth together into a future of new encounters and fresh perspectives.
Azamara Discovery
Discovery means finding or finding out about something for the first time. Whether you’re exploring the Azamara Discovery or diving deeper into an ancient culture, you’ll discover as much about the world around you as you will about yourself. -
You do need an interview. Here the email text I received after having my interview canceled due to COVID. I received it on 14-Dec-20, but have not yet been able to schedule an interview at my local airport. Hopefully some of the following is useful.
To: Global Entry initial applicants or renewal candidates:
Due to the continued response to the COVID 19 pandemic, the XXX Global Entry Enrollment Center will remain closed until at least 07 January 2021.
· All applicants now have 730 days from the date of their conditional approval to complete the enrollment process.
You have access to your appointment status through your online account dashboard; it can be monitored there.
You are receiving this reminder message because your Global Entry Interview has previously been cancelled. You may reschedule an appointment through your Global Entry account as appointments become available. Alternatively, you may complete your interview “on arrival” (please see below). Please refer to the website for openings. Please also note, appointments will not be available in Philadelphia until at least February 7th 2021. https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry
Frequently asked questions:
· Enrollment on Arrival is only available if you have arrived directly aboard an international flight from a foreign destination; this does not include pre-cleared arrivals.
· Global Entry Interviews are not and cannot be completed virtually.
· When appointments become available, Global Entry appointments can only be made online through your account once you are conditionally approved. An appointment will be required, once our enrollment center reopens. Applicants without appointments will not be seen.
· You may reschedule your appointment on the Global Entry website; the same process as when you scheduled your initial appointment or renewal appointment. Link: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry
· The Global Entry Application Fee pays for your already completed background check since you are conditionally approved to make an appointment. Therefore, and as stated on the website prior to beginning your application, it is not refundable.
· In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, CBP extended the period of time that Trusted Traveler Program applications remain active. All applicants now have 730 days from the date of their conditional approval to complete the enrollment process.

I experienced a variation of this poor treatment. I had booked the Aug/Sept 2021 Northwest Passage cruise. Booked this past August under the Double Bonus promotion ($1K reduced deposit & $1K on board credit).
Within the past week or so, SS canceled the original Aug/Sept 2021 cruise. They offered a move to the 2022 Northwest Passage cruise, BUT were demanding the full 25% deposit, which amounted to about $25K! So from $1K to $25K deposit required! I declined, and am thinking about canceling another, future SS cruise in 2022 due to this IMHO poor treatment.

Nor we.
I've already begun an email convo with my SS rep so I'm going to shoot off an email to him this evening and see what's what. Thanks for your input.
Please let us know what transpires. Thank you.

Here is the link:https://www.silversea.com/terms-and-conditions.html
Scroll down past clause P. The 31-December-2021 expiration date (for the $1K reduced deposit) is in the Double Bonus paragraph immediately thereafter.

This link shows a $1000 reduced deposit. I don't know if the deposit if that or if 25% is reduced by $1000.
https://www.silversea.com/best-luxury-cruise-deals/double-bonus.html
I was in touch with our SS rep and he said this goes into effect on 12/10.
Had the same issue today. Thought I could book a newly announced 2022 itinerary with the reduced $1K deposit. The headline link/verbiage says: From now until Dec 14, 2020 take advantage of $1,000 reduced deposits per suite and receive $1,000 to spend onboard on virtually all Silversea cruises.
Upon reading the fine print terms and conditions, however, it says:
Reduced Deposit is valid on all suite categories and for all 2021 voyages until 31 December 2021, excluding World Cruises and Grand Voyages. Cancel and re-books do not qualify.
Pretty misleading. So instead of the $1K deposit I was planning on, they want me to pay a $26K+ deposit for the Northwest Passage cruise in August, 2022 on the Wind. No go on that in these uncertain times!
-
Thank you, stumblefoot. So sorry about that. Was focusing more on the SS glossy when I should have paid more attention to your excellent summary.
-
Looks like there is not going to be a Northwest Passage itinerary on the Cloud in 2022? I’ve got it booked in Aug/Sept 2021, but not sure it will be clear if it will sail by the time final payment is due in April. Was hoping to move it to 2022, but appears that will not be possible.

We use an UK agency, but I cannot say whether that accounts for the difficulties the agency encountered. I do not know whether the other persons who claim to have Lifted and Shifted between the same two cruises (2021 to 2023) booked direct or through an agency, as they declined to offer this information.
My case was a US agency that I’ve been using for many years & many cruises. 2021 to 2023 lift and shift with no issues. -

Azamara (via our TA) are adamant that we cannot Lift and Shift from March 2021 to March 2023, becauss the Cruise with Confidence protocol has a restriction of one year in advance only.
Any enlightenment or assistance you could offer us would be most appreciated in the hope that we may make the rearrangement. Our TA says that your booking reference would be most useful, so that she can push Azamara. PLEASE HELP.
Azamara will not deal with me direct because our existing booking is through a TA.
Hi blag,
I am not comfortable sharing booking details. Have you tried emailing loyaltyambassador@azamara.com - to explain your situation and ask for help? I also think your TA needs to be a little more persistent with Azamara.
-
I doubt it is fraud, but I’m not a lawyer. I’m thinking of many different situations - but as an example, when Seabourn was planning (secretly, of course) on selling their 3 smallest vessels (the “triplets”) a few years ago, they were still taking bookings and had itineraries sold way into the future. Then they announced the sale to Windstar and people got their money back or were able to move them to other ships (maybe even to other lines under the Carnival umbrella, but I’m not positive of that last point).

TusconAnnie,
One more question if you don’t mind… are all passengers required to test before arrival in Bermuda, regardless of one’s intention to leave the ship while in port? Thank you.
