Deployment 2024-25 booking season begins
Tall-Cruiser replied to Biker19's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I could be wrong, but it seems like RCI is always behind announcing their deployment compared to other cruise lines. Sometimes it even seems they are more reactive after other cruise lines have committed their assets to various ports. -

I see and recall that now. Not sure what their thinking was for that area when they made the plans. If that is a โpublicโ area the neighbors on either side might not like that. If itโs completely closed off to everyone including the cabins on either side, then for some of us, we would think what a waste. But then, some would say we are not naval architects, so what do we know ๐. Itโs definitely not the same idea of the original secret balconies on the aft of Oasis and Allure. -

Good observation. That white space/hallway that leads into the gray area. Hmmm! The new hidden balcony area on Icon? -

They will be very happy to have that space. -

So which balcony gets that space, 14\752 or 14750? It would be a shame if that was unused space. -

Thatโs a good question. Maybe @Eremita85 or @Lloyd555 have heard something. -

I can pull them up without being logged in. Really amazing photos (love that aerial shot of the bow with two tugs towing). Thanks for sharing. -

It was interesting watching as she pulled away with the help of the tugs and eventually disappeared from the live webcam. -

Lots of visitors today at t.he Marina and a beautiful day out there. @Eremita85 Maybe itโs happening later today? -

Driving to Miami is also bad. Itโs the primary reason I tend not to look at cruises from there. With Icon, oh well, Miami is it. Hope Icon 2 is closer like PC ๐ -

I think you chose wisely with those cabins๐. I would think though that at some point Royal may have to flag the end JY 17028 and the other on the port side as Obstructed. Some may like the fact that it could be cove like. So will have to see once sailing starts and what people are saying. -

@Ourusualbeach Looking at the screen shots you posted with some pricing I just noticed that many of the suites are bigger (square footage shown) compared to Wonder. -

Almost completed ๐๐ Have they started painting the name on the Starboard side? They are probably trying to get the name on before the Sea trials. Thanks as always for sharing your photos. -

How about this guesstimate of the cabin numbers on deck 17 and the most forward JS on 16? @Lloyd555 @topanga49er what are your thoughts? I tried to estimate the OS since they have a separate bedroom and counting the visible panels. -

Excellent!๐. Thank you very much for taking the time to go back there and share your amazing photos. I know all of us here appreciate what you do and share with us. @topanga49er See photo that @Eremita85 was kind enough to share here with us. Can you now make out your cabins ๐? -

Congrats on your two cabin selections ๐. I am glad to know I wasnโt the only one thinking about this ๐. I have looked at so many renderings, photos and angles trying to figure it out. Plus I enjoy following the whole ship building process. I also wondered why they didnโt (at least from the renderings) totally cover those suites on 17 from the OS to the JS similar to those below on 16. Since there are only a few of those Sky JS, itโs hard to find them for any sailing. Indeed the pricing is very crazy. The price of a regular JS is approaching that of the Sky JS back in October. -

Booking during that opening period made a big difference. Itโs unbelievable how much prices have gone up on ALL categories. Some balcony cabins are double what they were in October. Then some cabin prices for 2025 sailings are even higher than the same period in 2024.
